Great location. Very nice room (I wasn't bothered by the lack of light in the courtyard room that other people have mentioned). Decent food options and a nice whisky bar. Decent breakfast, quite extensive though with poor waiting service. Small poolside area though nice pool with a great view. Decent value for money. Good that you can use the Fullerton Bay pool.

Such a peaceful, tranquil hotel, with the barracks history blended sympathetically into all touch points. We had a suite that had direct pool access which was fabulous. However what stands this hotel above its competitors is the customer service. Every, single member of staff and every single customer interaction was exceptional. From the friendly and informative welcome from Mr Gulpal to the incredibly helpful reception staff, to the attentive living room staff and cheery cleaners - this is what so many of the large luxury hotels cannot match.
The cocktails and canapés hour in the evening is a wonderful touch, complimentary snacks and drinks through the day and yummy ice cream freezer which our son absolutely loved.
In addition we had a super late flight out that day - reception were able to arrange a late checkout and we could hang at the hotel on the air con until we needed to leave for the airport- with more compliments canapés.
We shall recommend to all.

This hotel is a treasure of Singapore. We had a Premier room with a balcony and street view, big enough for two adults and two children. Luxurious bathroom, perfect cleaning. Ann Siang Hill is a quiet part of Chinatown, a few minutes walk from the main hustle and bustle. The hotel is within walking distance of the center, within easy reach of two different metro lines. Even though the accommodation doesn't officially offer breakfast, you can have coffee, muffins, cookies, crackers at any time of the day... I've already stayed in hotels with paid breakfasts worse than this complimentary corner. Moreover, at five in the afternoon the hotel offers a few glasses of beer or good wine complimentary. A trifle, but it really pleases. I must highlight the extremely helpful and dedicated receptionists.

Total waste of money, no consession prices, park closed...
Total waste of money, no consession prices, park closed early the day we went, half of it was under construction. Food was very expensive at Mel's diner and not very tasty, limited menu. Had been there before in 2019, will never go back.
