We recently had the pleasure of staying at Torel Avantgarde in Porto, and we must say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped into this stunning property, we were blown away by the elegant design and warm atmosphere.
The real highlight of my stay, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. A heartfelt thank you to the front desk reception team, who greeted us with genuine smiles and ensured every aspect of our stay was seamless. Special thanks to the Night Auditor, who went above and beyond to assist us during late hours with unparalleled professionalism. The restaurant staff also deserves immense praise for their attentiveness and for making each meal feel like a curated experience.
The property itself is beautiful, with luxurious rooms that blend comfort and style, offering breathtaking views of Porto. Every corner of the hotel seemed thoughtfully designed to provide a unique and relaxing environment.
Torel Avantgarde is truly a gem in Porto, and we cannot recommend it enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Everything. The hotel is a modern renovation of an old "palais" that is wonderfully done, leaving much of the original building visible but with all modern amenities. Staff and food exceptional. Excellent location near Ribeira and river.

Very nice for families with an excellent breakfast and pool/spa area + kids club. Location is unique: across the river, so outside of the hustle and bussle but easy to get to downtown Porto. Just a quick boat ride or 'gondola' lift away, which can be reached on foot. The children really loved it. Also close to all the port houses.
Beautiful decorations and vibes. Decent restaurants.
Good value for money if you are staying during the low season. The river view from the room was so worth it too!
