YOTEL Porto, hotel in Porto

Located in Porto, a 13-minute walk from Sao Bento Metro Station, YOTEL Porto provides accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a garden and a terrace.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a nice selection and staff kept it replenished. We had lunch and supper at the hotel and really enjoyed it. We are not used to dining as late as is the custom so appreciated that the YOTEL restaurant was available earlier. We loved our room - beautiful view of the downtown. Loved the shower - shampoo and conditioner 😊 The bed was very comfortable. We used the car park which was covered and secure. The lighting and decor, as well as set up of the rooms make it unique.

The Invincible City

Whether it’s wandering down a cute alleyway, past an impressive church or through the predominantly granite Avenida dos Aliados downtown, the hilly cityscape of Porto is impressively diverse. Overlooking the Douro River estuary, this merchant city features colorful homes; industrial bridges and the affluent river bank of Foz do Douro.

Is wine your cup of tea? Take a port-wine tour through the wine caves in Vila Nova de Gaia. Interested in architecture? The Clerigos Tower and Sao Francisco Church will inspire visitors. Fancy some culture? Appreciate what Porto has to offer at the Ethnography and History Museum, Modern Art Museum at Serralves and the Casa da Musica Music Hall.

Fresh food can be purchased daily at the Mercado do Bolhao Market in downtown Baixa. More diverse goods are for sale in the shopping center right next to Dragao Stadium, home to FC Porto.

There is a lot to see in Porto and it is compact which helps. The weather in late January was wet and windy, which I was told was usual. The Churches, Museums and palaces are well worth visiting, and the food is very good indeed, and reasonably priced. The Serralves Museum is fine if you love modern art, but I preferred the Museum of sculpture and nineteenth century art near the hospital.

Friendly people, lovely shopping and pedestrian zone, great food. Traffic is a bit of a nightmare! Next time we'll skip the car and use the subway. We enjoyed a day on the beach, we drove to Tomar for a day (great trip!), and spent one day on a very lovely tour of the Duoro Valley with Living Tours.

As I enjoy drinking port, visits to the port lodges were mandatory. The whole area is a delight to walk around; just a shame the weather wasn't too kind to us. Nevertheless, the cost of ubers is very low.

We found Porto to be a very walkable city. Visited both sides of the riverfront and explored the old town. Lots to see and do. Many neighborhoods worth checking out, walking tour was wonderful- learned lots and was very entertaining. Good starting point for Douro valley tours. A week definitely wasn't long enough.

I would recommend as always to enjoy some local food and avoid touristic crowded place that are overpriced. At the same time each place on map is worthy visit with a aspect to architecture and history and beauty!

Everything was perfect. It was the best hotel that I stayed in during my two-weeks holiday in Portugal. As other reviewers have mentioned, the beds are super comfortable. The location is right in the centre of Porto, within walkable distance to the main attractions. Some of Porto's best restaurants are around this hotel as well. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with berries, smoothies, tasty pastries and cakes. Everything was fresh and tasty. Special thanks to staff members for being friendly and nice.

This is a great hotel in a perfect location in Porto. It's part of a small chain of hotels called FLH (Feels Like Home) that we weren't familiar with but we'll be looking to use again next time we're in Portugal. The room was on the large side for Europe and extremely well equipped. The morning breakfast buffet was sufficient and the fact that they'll cook you eggs on demand is a nice touch. I would not hesitate to stay at the Memoria Porto hotel again.

An amazing little boutique hotel with beautifully appointed rooms in a central location. The hotel manager and host is the best host I had on My entire European trip, she was so helpful and it felt I was staying with friends or someone I know. This is more than a 10/10 experience.

What a place! beautiful decor throughout, amazing room sizes and big bathrooms. We were only there one night and would have loved to have stayed longer. Very modern, everything you need. Balcony and so central for exploring Porto. Best bed we slept in during our trip to Portugal.

We stayed here on our visit in 2019. We decided to stay again in 2022 now that we have moved to Portugal. We love the hotel. In operation since 1905. The rooms are for sleeping but have all the comforts needed.
