The castle is high on the hillside and beautiful to explore, there are scattered shops and restaurants worth visiting but prices are high. Beautiful views but recommend it as a brief visit and not a destination. Better options elsewhere.

If staying in the old town take precise instructions from your future host how to reach the place, as usual address will not do: streets-lanes may not have names, house numbers are mixed up, missing or repeat (!), the latter was our case which made us intrude into smb's home, later apologize and return to the street in despair ) Were it not for a friendly tourist who had similar experience...

Property is located near the Obidos Castle. You cannot drive through the back side of the castle where the property is located, but you can walk there. The apartment looked ok.
Located in the middle of a beautiful Pear Orchard it is serene, quiet, peaceful with access to small villages, towns with everything you need, beautiful beaches, Obidos Castle, and a dinosaur park. The best part are the owners, Roger and Nazare. They are the very best example of what you hear about the kindness, and giving spirit of the Portuguese people. The breakfast is a custom prepared bounty of fresh fruits, juices, breads, pastry, coffees, teas, cereals to rival the fanciest 5 * inner city hotel without the noise and crowds.
What a wonderful place to stay, right outside the old Obidos castle walls. It's only a short two minute walk to get inside. The apartment is very clean and modern, with everything you may need. Comfortable bed, very quiet area, perfect place to stay for a day or two while visiting Obidos or nearby locations. Highly recommended. I plan to stay at this place next time too.
We loved the room, as it was very spacious, comfortable and aesthetically looking. The staff was amazing! Everyone was helpful and friendly. There was a lot of available parking space and the hotel’s location is just perfect. It’s close to the Óbidos castle, many shops and restaurants.

Marcelo was an excellent, reliable, communicative, and very helpful host! We mistakenly left our passports behind in the room and Marcelo was so accommodating and flexible in meeting us to get them back. The room was exactly as described and was the perfect size for two people. It was comfortable, clean, safe, very reasonably priced, and in a great location in Obidos, steps away from Obidos Castle, great restaurants, and the lovely, quaint streets of Obidos.
The hotel is within walking distance to grocery stores and the Obidos castle. My room was clean with excellent views. The food at the restaurant downstairs was excellent.
Beautiful facilities. Too bad we could not use the pool and the terraces as much as we would like to, because it is a little cold in the winter.
