Upgraded to junior suite - very thankful! Big bathroom, narrow but more than adequate living/kitchen/dining room, very large bedroom. Super clean. Large shower which did *not* tend to splash into the rest of the bathroom. Nice large porcelain tiling in bathroom, single sheet of tempered glass for backsplash in kitchen which is great cuz to my mind the less grout the better...nice mini bar and great tea selection. The building being built as post office in ~1937 is built like a concrete tank. Very quiet. Quiet area a quick few blocks from the Octogon and surrounds.

bed was terrific, good view of ocean from 2nd floor, staff were helpful, nice meal from the restaurant which they kindly brought to our room, TV was on a pivot so could watch from the bed

Great location beautiful historic interior nice food
Easy to find. Walkable to Otago museum. The room itself was directly across from reception, I was concerned that it would be noisy, it was not. It had breakfast too. Parking on-site.
It is an easy walk to town and the Otago Museum.
There is a variety of eateries cose by.
