Striking looking property in large grounds. Clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. More of a Retreat than a Resort.

Great little place.
Great little place.
If driving go into the carpark - Not the cafe - and you can walk to the beach free. If you go to the cafe you have to buy a ticket to walk down their steps to the same beach.
Funniest thing we saw was people madly chasing their tickets along the beach which had fallen out of pockets!
Boulders are a fun activity, worth stopping to look at

This place was handy to restaurants and Moeraki Boulders. We had a great view of the sea. The Hosts were lovely (2 and 4 legged). Cooking facilities were great.
We booked here because I wanted to photograph the Moeraki Boulders at sunrise and it was very close. It was somewhere we would not have normally ventured to but were glad we did. We cooked our own dinner but there was a nearby tavern about 5 mins away and a fish and chip shop. Check in was very easy with a message prior to our arrival and an easily accessible locked box. The unit was very spacy and great value for the price. Would definitely stay here again if I was to return.
Nice little coastal village. Pizza's at local Tavern were exceptional. Lighthouse had seals sun-bathing. Walk to Moeraki boulders pleasant along the coastal walk then on the beach (timed with tide going out). Had morning tea at cafe which had good food choices. Souvenir shop also had good selection, reasonably priced.
The location was great for visiting Moeraki Boulders Beach and area. The property had a lovely garden and the big kitchen window overlooked beautiful flowers. The unit was two stories with an upstairs deck for great ocean views. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was comfortable. The bathroom was so large that we could put our large suitcases there and not lug them up the steep stairs. The bed was very comfortable.
Well located near a small golden sand beach, a short walk from the local tavern and roughly 3km via the millennium walk to the famous Moeraki Boulders. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Big bedrooms and a beautiful sea view from the main bedroom. Wish we stayed longer.
The host for this accommodation was super helpful and the room was amazing. The walk from the hotel to the Moeraki Boulders, along the beach, was about 1.7 km very easy walk and just stunning views. The whole area was great - people really friendly and so much to see. The local tavern was great for a meal.
