A trendy area with some fascinating restaurants and cafes.
Do take the time to make the short walk up the small hill to visit the Kuan Yin temple - this is a lovely place.
This is an excellent area to stay in, and has lots of budget hotels.

We went there around 3pm plus. Alot of the eating places are already closed, not sure was it because of Covid, hence it was not open in the first place. Thankfully we still get to eat some local food within.

Great location near Petaling Street market and the rooms were clean and very modern. Lovely design and layout. Very affordable for KL so good if you’re on a budget. Small common area with water, microwave, plates, cutlery, etc which is useful.
Perfect place to stay for solo travellers. Inside the capsule there's adjustable lighting. Clean room and lots of amenities ready for you like towels, slippers and toothbrush. Lot's of toilet and bath stall available. Theres washing & dryer machine infront of receptionist (cost RM9 each). Very near to Petaling Street and Pasar Seni. 5-10 minutes walk to Pasar Seni station if you want to go around KL. Several Chinese and Mamak restaurants nearby.
The location is really convenient as it very near Chinatown Petaling Street with alot of food options
The hotel has a mix of heritage and modern design with a cafe located right below. The staff were friendly and helpful too. My room was clean and comfortable with a semi-open-air bathroom which was a unique design from other hotel I stay before.
Overall, I will come back again to Tian Jing Hotel and recommend this as it is really affordable and good location. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in KL!
Clean/modern small room with comfy bed (firm) that is totally perfect for a good night sleep. Many food options and you can be in Petaling street in no time. Pasar Seni station is just across the road I say 4 min away. Just wonderful.
Quite an unique hotel in the heart of Petaling Street, got alot of cafes and bars around and Jalan Alor was nearby which was filled with good food. Room was well furbished and it was clean. Hotel security was good with survelliance camera and 24/7 hotel staff on standby.
The location is perfect! Just inside Chinatown”petaling street”, lot’s to see and buy, walking distance to so many eateries nearby especially in jalan sultan. MRT/LRT station just 2-3 minutes walk.
Hotel room is so comfy, everything is perfect!
The hotel is situated close to Petaling street and has some good indian restaurant and also cafes for brunch around. The room is basic but nice and clean. However the best part are the people from the hotel, the sweetest ever!
The location is near to many famous places such as Petronas Twin Tower with KLCC Park, Suria Mall, KL Tower, Petaling Street, Jalan Alor street food, so we can walk or take a grab very easily. The apartment is clean and fully equipped with essential household appliances so we can enjoy ourselves as home. Hasan - the apartment guy is friendly, punctual and helpful anytime we need. Love Malaysia!
