The accommodation itself is a tourist attraction with lots of photo opportunity. It's interesting to learn about the history of the mansion from the tour. We also enjoyed the guzheng music played by a solo artist in the courtyard on a Friday evening.
Since it is located in the Unesco World Heritage Site, many historical significant attractions are within walking distance.
The room is clean although it's slightly dim. We love having the breakfast in the courtyard and the food was good.
This stay is highly recommended for a truly unique cultural experience.

Very central location. The property has a lot of charm and the staff is very helpful and can give you some recommendations of restaurants and things to do around Georgetown.
The off street parking is very difficult during day time but there is a parking at 3 mins walk from the hotel.

The room is clean. The bed is comfortable and I liked the pillows. The staffs are helpful and friendly. It is a short walking distance to Gurney Plaza and the Gurney Drive hawkers areas so there is food nearby.
By far the best stay we ever had. The house is cozy and clean. From young to old, everyone enjoyed their stay. When asked what's the best memory of the trip, the kids answered it's the house without a second thought. They prefer to stay home rather then going out. 🤣
Location wise, it's very strategic. Less than 10 minutes walking distance to Gurney Plaza. All the famous eateries around are within 5 minutes drive. And the best thing, the host is super nice! Friendly, helpful, and understanding. 10/10 super host!

Everything was great. The location is very strategic like 5 minutes walking to Gurney Plaza. I would consider Gurney to be the best spot to stay in Penang so far.
The house was super nice, everything was new and squeaky clean with very good facilities and amenities, also the rooms and bathrooms. Kelly was a great host, she made sure everything worked well and made us feel like home. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Penang next time.
The location was very good, near to Gurney Plaza and Gurney Drive and a few seafood restaurants, and the waterfront and only a couple of kilometres from Georgetown. The hotel was very clean and facilities modern and comfortable. Cleaners were good and helpful.
