What a place to eat! The food in Georgetown is incredible, from crazy cheap street food to fine dining and everything in between. Cooking class (Nazlina Spice Station) was excellent with a market tour and snacks.

Georgetown was way better than I expected.
Georgetown was way better than I expected. I loved every minute there. The mix of cultures is so interesting and the food is spectacular. Everything is walkable. It had everything I wanted from a trip to Malaysia.

So many wonderful places. Everything is just a stone's throw away from the hotel we stayed. Although the place is crowded especially in the evenings, it is safe to walk and the surrounding area is clean.

The old town architecture, street stalls, food centres, Mosques, Churches all had it's distinct attraction and uniqueness .
Penang Hill was another attraction well visiting although the ride to the top was very congested possibly being a holiday
The food whether in a restaurant or street stall was all packed with flavor and spices which tingled the taste buds

George Town is a favourite place for me to relax, wander, meet people and EAT. I have been visiting for over 40 years and it is like a second home. It is such an easy and friendly place. But, beware, the food is so good everywhere, you may get fat!

George Town is a must for a traveller that are interested in the Baba - Nyonya and Peranakan Straits culture. Chinese (taoist and buddist), Indian (hindu ans muslim), Arabs and Malay are living together in friendship, harmony and peace. I strongly recommend the Peranakan Museum, the Blue Mansion, and a full and attentive visit on any strret of the Historic Georgev Town whic is protected by UNESCO. The whole Island of Penang is interesting. So, go for it!

The room is quite spacious, clean, nice interior and good view from the bed.(harbour view).Staff friendly. Breakfast was good. It's a beautiful hotel, great interior decoration and clean. The included afternoon tea was also very nice. It also has a great location that allows for quick access to down town George Town.
We were on the far end of the mosque, and the sound didn't bother us, it was actually quite calming, and doesn't last too long

Hotel is in a brilliant location in George Town, walking distance to most attractions and the public bus also stops just up the street which was helpful. Staff were very friendly. Fridge in the room was welcomed.
