Minutes from the bus station, this is an excellent hotel. On the upper floors of a shopping centre, but once you’re in you wouldn’t know. Staffed 24/7, check in was easy on the day. They are making an effort for sustainability with door key cards made in wood not plastic (it can be done) and filtered water in refillable glass bottles.
Bed is very comfortable and we had a balcony overlooking the gardens (very popular for a local starling murmuration) which look magical at night. Staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast super - large selection of local cold savoury and sweet treats but also a full cooked breakfast if you must.
Great location and thoroughly recommended.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The room was spotless, modern, quite, and had a great view! The bed was super comfortable. The hotel’s location is perfect close to the beach but still quiet at night. The breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection of fresh, delicious options. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back!

Superb especially to visitors who seek Historic places.
Superb especially to visitors who seek Historic places. Its full of interesting niches. The location gives a 360 breathless view of the island. The history around it, the museums, the cathedral, the new restoration of the bastions surrounding it. And for a break one can stop in local shops for a delicious ftira ( gozo bread ) or a cool frash drink on the bastions. Great experience

Perfect location, a 3 minute walk down ancient, quiet, safe streets to the St George plaza: fantastic place to eat dinner outside. And a short walk to the Cittadella.
Property very close to Cittadella. Room had AC and T.V. ours was a short stay and being a family of 4, the bedroom was comfortable. The person taking care of the property was very welcoming and offered their help whenever we needed something.
It’s a lovely modern property with nice design, it’s very clean. It’s a few minutes walk from the cittadella and very central but located down a quiet residential street.
The hotel was 1 min away from the bus station- very central. The view of Cittadella from the balcony was amazing and the staff members were extremely friendly. Breakfast was the best we had in Malta and we could leave our luggage after the check-out time. We wish we stayed there longer than 1 night.
The apartment was extremely spacious and included many features, including an oven, hotplates, refrigerator, and storage space. Location was great, only a few steps from the massive Cittadella buildings.
Good sized room with aircon that can actually heat,a big plus in these cold days. Kitchen with all the materials you need. Bathroom with a decent shower and washing machine. It's a two bedroom apartment so you share the facilities with not too many other people. It's located next to the cittadella, so most people will like the location as it is close by to many things. I personally did not as it is just too busy, too many people and too many cars. This place was fairly priced and I would definately stay again.
La Fenice is a small residential apartment that rents out 2 rooms, run by Giancarlo, a very friendly, lovely man who lives there with his 2 adorable chihuahuas. He was very accommodating, helpful and gave us a lot of space. Good location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Rabat/Victoria. Great view from the big terrace of the awe inspiring Cittadella. The rooms had everything we needed, comfortable beds, nice hot shower, and facilties to make some breakfast.
The building is lovely, and looked very historic. The room was great and offered a Cittadella view (wow!). The breakfast spread was huge and even offered cakes. I am vegan and was very happy with the soy chocolate yogurt and soy milk. I appreciated this! Let them know in advance if you have any food preferences.
The owner and staff were super friendly. The hotel is close to the bus station and there are many restaurants nearby (for example Casa Vostra). Had a great time!
