Victoria, Gozo is such a beautiful and special place.
Victoria, Gozo is such a beautiful and special place. Walking through its streets feels like stepping into a different world, with its historic charm and peaceful atmosphere. The Cittadella is a highlight—not just for its stunning views but for the sense of history that surrounds you as you explore. The town itself is full of life, with lovely cafes, shops, and markets where you can truly experience the local culture. It’s the perfect blend of relaxation and discovery, and I always leave with wonderful memories. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gozo!

I actually live on the outskirts of Victoria and would certainly recommend it to visitors to Gozo and Malta. Gozo is mainly very beautiful with historic villages and many magnificent churches and neolithic remains. Victoria's historic center with its medieval narrow streets, busy squares, restaurants, churches and Citadel feature as the primary attractions. Escape from the heat and buzz of activity by relaxing in the beautiful Villa Rundle Gardens. For opera fans the city does have two opera houses which stage performances in October. If visiting in July, August and early September be prepared for high temperatures and cloudless skies.

Victoria is a wonderful small city in the center of Gozo. It is charming with many beautiful historic buildings, delicious restaurants and friendly people. It is the center of the bus network so you can get to almost anywhere on Gozo by bus.

The Castella district has much to offer and the views all around the island are excellent. Both hotels we stayed at were lovely. One can get to all the main beaches and attractions on public transport. We found the busses to be on time and nicely air conditioned and one gets to places quickly.

Very nice modern flat in great central position of Victoria. I got on very well with the young lady that I was sharing with, she was very kind and helpful and it was interesting to have a chat at times. The owner has made a good job of updating the flat and it provides a kitchen which you do not get in most hotel rooms so a bonus. Room quite small but adequate. Easy to find flat and key collection system efficient.
We had a wonderful time at the charming Casa Gemelli Boutique Guesthouse. This exceptional hotel perfectly blends tradition, style and quality. We were greeted with warm hospitality and attentive care. The peaceful atmosphere and unique charm of every corner make it an ideal place for a calm and unforgettable stay. To everyone reading this, we wish you joy and inner peace! Highly recommended!
This little hotel was in a beautifully restored building in the perfect location. The room was large, immaculate with beautiful tiled floors.Breakfast every morning in the square was a delight. You felt like you were in the heart of Victoria.
