Best place in town, big rooms with hot shower. Stayed here for 5 days.
Rooftop breakfast at sunrise is plentiful and cooked personally for guest.
Free bike rent and good tips from owner to explore town and surrounding areas.
Highly recommend this place for everyone 👍🏼

The hotel and room is very worn, and needs serious updating. It smells old, and there was a lots of insects in the room. Power outage is a problem in Myanmar, and the Internet is awful. Beds are just medium comfy. Not my best stay in Myanmar. But, the price was low and the breakfast was decent though.
I appreciated the balcony, and the people working there was polite and nice.

I had a comfortable trip with the kind and smart guidance of hotel owner.
Breakfast cooked and served by the owner is so great. It has Western breakfast to local food. It tastes great, and the amount is abundant.
of course a day's boat tour and make sure to see the sunrise at dawn on the lake the stillness was sacred and very spiritual.

The management team was excellent. They were most helpful for everything we needed (bus booking, lake trip booking, etc). I got sick the last day and they allowed us a late check out for a very reasonable price, and the manager even went to buy some fruit as I couldn’t eat other things.
To really see how the locals live, head to Mingalar Market. With shops selling everything under the sun and few backpackers in sight, it’s a far cry from the touristed street markets of Southeast Asia. You’ll find inexpensive fruits and veggies, household goods, clothing, plus restaurants, barbers and even a karaoke stall.
