Best place in town, big rooms with hot shower. Stayed here for 5 days.
Rooftop breakfast at sunrise is plentiful and cooked personally for guest.
Free bike rent and good tips from owner to explore town and surrounding areas.

The hotel and room is very worn, and needs serious updating. It smells old, and there was a lots of insects in the room. Power outage is a problem in Myanmar, and the Internet is awful. Beds are just medium comfy. Not my best stay in Myanmar. But, the price was low and the breakfast was decent though.
I appreciated the balcony, and the people working there was polite and nice.

I had a comfortable trip with the kind and smart guidance of hotel owner.
Breakfast cooked and served by the owner is so great. It has Western breakfast to local food. It tastes great, and the amount is abundant.
of course a day's boat tour and make sure to see the sunrise at dawn on the lake the stillness was sacred and very spiritual.

The management team was excellent. They were most helpful for everything we needed (bus booking, lake trip booking, etc). I got sick the last day and they allowed us a late check out for a very reasonable price, and the manager even went to buy some fruit as I couldn’t eat other things.

I have been to this town on several previous occasions, (I live in Myanmar, and have an educational charity and donate at the various orphanages). Due to the current 'situation' in Myanmar, there are very few foreign tourists in Nyaung Shwe, and many larger hotels, restaurants and shops that cater to foreign tourists are closed. However, the locality is very safe and the local people are very friendly and helpful. The internet is relatively stable, but take a torch with you because the electricity supply to the town is only available for a few hours each day. Larger hotels have generators, but smaller hotels do not!

the town itself is a very quiet place to spend a few days, people are relaxed, life is slow and stress-free. there are many places to choose for lunch and dinner. can tour around with bicycle if short trips but need a motorbike for longer distances. the lake is ok but not as l would have imagined… the boat tour was more a commercial tour, with a stop at costly restaurant and shops where the driver gets a commission but the market on the lake is worth a visit.

Nice place to visit, the lake is beautiful nice to see the people working, I did the long boats with the loud diesel engines and the small rowing boat that I prefered because it is slow and noiseless.

The boats trips were a highlight obviously but we also took to chance to get well out of town on hired scooters, the Kakku pagodas were about the best that we saw in all of Myanmar except for Shwedagon. The town itself has has great spots to eat and some good nightlife too.

Inle Lake is a beautiful play to stay!
Inle Lake is a beautiful play to stay! We stayed there for 3 days and I guess that was exactly the perfect length. You can do sunrise boat tours, boat tours during the day to see the tobacco/ wool/ steel industry and so on. You can also rent a bike to see how they make tofu and sweets and to go to one of the vineyards. It is a really beautiful place!

We felt like at home. The owner Nway Nway - caring and helpful. The staff was very friendly and kind. Delicious breakfast (pancakes, toasts, fresh fruits and yummy homemade pineapple jam). Room spacious and clean.
Finally, a quick note for those who are wondering whether to go to Myanmar or not.. My advice - go. We were there several times and we have never felt unsafe. And remember: your arrival can help many ordinary people to survive during these difficult times
Super cute and well maintained little inn. The bungalows are tiny houses with space and comfortable beds. It’s clean and peaceful. The owner is extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. The entire team is really attentive and goes out of their way to ensure we have the best trip. The breakfast was also copious and really tasty. Nothing but the best for these people. Go there! Have the best inle experience!

The hosts are very good and nice, very helpful ladies! Breakfasts were absolutely awesome! The whole area was very much devastated after the recent floods so many things must be renovated. Please, go and stay in this property! If tourists are not coming to Myanmar there are no resourses to renovate the hotel and infrastructure. Inle Lake was amazing!
everything! the rooms were stylish, plenty of hot water, the gardens very pretty, the breakfast huge and diverse eating what the locals would eat, and the staff especially Phey Phey, were so attentive and helpful. The best hotel in Myanmar after travelling for 10 days.
