The Luang Prabang Residence Hotel is located in the perfect location in LPB. Easy to get to any activity or attraction in the city. The hotel itself is a small, intimate property with a beautiful flower-filled garden at the entrance. The rooms are large and well appointed. The morning breakfast, which takes place in the garden, has many offerings and was delicious. The staff was very kind and eager to ensure my wife and I were comfortable at the property. The manager's name is Tom, and he was absolutely the most attentive, kind, helpful hotel manager we have ever seen. He was truly a delight to speak with get to know during our week at the hotel. We look forward to visiting the Luang Prabang Residence Hotel again in the future!

Golden Lotus is perfectly located on a tiny little side street off the main road. Very walkable to most of LP including restaurants, museums, temples, and both rivers. Friendly staff always available. Good breakfast included. Laundry, scooters, train tickets, and van transfers are all available with advanced reservation. Comfortable king bed. Strong AC. Really nice wood floors that are fun to walk on barefoot. Morning and evening local markets on this side street right outside Golden Lotus are very different than the big night markets on the main street blocks away. Think old/local (fruits, veggies, small animal meats) vs. new/touristy (shirts, jewelries, etc). Golden Lotus is ideal for both options and a few blocks away from the busy but fun night food market. If we're lucky enough to visit LP again in the future, we would again choose Golden Lotus for 3-4 nights. And the airport pickup we arranged for LPQ was perfect! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We loved everything about this hotel. Location is a 10. Close enough to main part of town but just far enough for peace and quiet. Our river view room was the nicest place we stayed in our two weeks in Vietnam. Large window and balcony with views of the colorful boats parading along the river all day and night. Really large bathroom also. The staff were all so lovely and kind and helpful. Aimee was so sweet to us. In a way I felt like she was looking after us. The rooftop pool and bar were just as beautiful as the photos. The size of this boutique hotel was perfect. Oh and the free bikes were so great.
