I liked the swimming spot, it was very nice to be able to swim in the lake. It was convenient to rent a motorbike and a van to another town directly from the hostel.

Love the weather and all the scenery places we visited. The amazing Kouang Si waterfall, elephant camp, we did the zipline at Green Jungle Park, Mekong river cruise, Royal palace & Wat Xieng Thong. So many places to visit and see.

Luang Prabang was such a pelasant surprise.
Luang Prabang was such a pelasant surprise. I only had two-and-a-half days and knowing what I know now and experienced, I would have extended my stay for another two full days as there were more things to do. I loved the "laid back" vibe of this town (compared to Phnom Penh).

Just wandering & absorbing the sights & atmosphere of this unusual town was good.
The cultural centre (TAEC) was informative but we didn't go into the palace because they wanted us to leave our bags behind. Too big a risk with passports, money etc in them.
The night market was fun; the food there was varied & cheap.

It has kept its charm and is still worthy of the World...
It has kept its charm and is still worthy of the World Heritage status. we visited during the low season, but i guess it could be owercrowded during high season. The new railway makes it an easy target for mass tourism.
Still a unique place in SouthEast Asia with so much history.

Best hotel with the best location
+ The location is great! Just at the door of the hotel you have the morning market which by itself it’s a lovely walk in the morning to see the locals doing their groceries shopping. You can basically see Luang Prabang whitin a walking distance.
Staff is friendly and very helpful with whatever you need.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

- The staff were great, especially Rose, who was exceptional! She spent time on our arrival to talk us through a map of the local area, helped us to book train tickets and transport to Kuang si waterfall. 5 star service 😀!

The hotel staff were fantastic, especially Chang who went above and beyond to make our stay very special. Building works to extend the hotel did not detract from our experience and the close proximity to downtown attractions in Luang Prabang allowed us to walk everywhere.
