I have come to Siem Reap many times and stayed at several hotels and I have to say that Grand Yard La Residence is one of the best in town. I was booked here for 2 weeks and decided to stay longer. As a solo traveler Mr. Chan and his staff made me feel welcome and safe. They go above and beyond to make your stay both comfortable and worry free.
The room was was large, comfortable and clean.
Afternoon tea was a real treat.
And the free evening transmission to Pub street was a great added bonus.

Staying here was such a great experience! The hotel is right in the heart of Siem Reap, close to all the main attractions like Pub Street. Despite being so central, it felt peaceful and relaxing. The service was incredibly fast, and you could tell the staff were well-trained. Everyone we interacted with was polite and helpful. The price was surprisingly affordable for what you get.

It is peaceful. Walking distance from pub street. The swimming pool is nice and clean with a little bar and pool table. Actually it was my 2nd trip to Siem Reap and the 2nd time I booked this hotel because of the peaceful environment and nice staff. They are very cooperative and helpful. Even if you need to go early in the morning for Angkor Wat sunrise, they will pack your breakfast so you won't be hungry..
The service in the hotel was just perfect!! Every single person from the staff made our stay a wonderful one. It is also very a well located place. The room was clean and spacious, well worth the price I paid for the room. I love to spend time by a pool and this made it twice as nice. Siem Reap is an excellent place to find great value food, massages and cocktails (I completely avoided the craziness of pub street), Also loved the temples and the history behind it.
Wonderful Cambodian hotel in Siem Reap. The room is very comfortable with a nice large bed. And I enjoyed looking out my delightful poolside view. The hotel is within 10-15mins walking distance of Pub Street as well as other nearby restaurants and cafes around 5mins. Very convenient location with plenty of tuk tuks nearby for transportation. Hotel is the friendly staff. Every day I was greeted with smiles and kindness. They are so hospitable and helpful here.

The hotel's central city location, near popular Pub Street, was ideal for us. The room size was comfortable and the staff provided excellent customer service.
