Great place to stay in Siem Reap. It is true what people say about transportation at the hotel. If you want to visit Angkor Wat the best is to use the $18 tuktuk driver at the hotel - will take you everywhere and not bore you with details. We also called a Grab and it turned out it was the driver parked in front of the hotel - mere seconds away.
This stop was a week into our trip so we needed to do laundry. The laundry in front of the hotel is fantastic! They offered to do laundry for US$0.50 per Kg if overnight or US$1 per Kg if same day - either a real bargain, and they fold everything so well. (Or there is a self-service laundry nearby, but why, when you can get it done for you!)
There are fantastic restaurants near there. Nick Restaurant is amazing and inexpensive. Nearby Red Apple restaurant is also great. The restaurant at the Cheathata Angkor hotel is truly exceptional - a massive menu of good food at great prices.
Located in Siem Reap, Home Indochine D'angkor Hotel offers an outdoor salt-water pool with sun lounges, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi and a front desk 24/7 are available.

Staff really welcoming and helpful.
We had a big room, with plenty of space for the family. Very clean.
Swimming pool and external area are small but really nice and enjoyable. The pool bar is also a nice touch, really fun.
Breakfast simple but good.

Angkor Wat
This epic temple is so revered in Cambodia it appears on the country’s flag. Built during the 12th-century heyday of the Khmer Empire, it was first dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu before becoming a Buddhist temple. In terms of size and complexity, you can’t help but be bowled over by its barrage of giant moats, steep walls and lofty beehive-like towers.

Wonderful site.
Wonderful site. The biggest and best preserved relic of that era hundreds of years ago. Most of the time one can escape the crowds and have some moments of peace, especially away from the center of the site.

This is an amazing place that should be visited several times. The government managed tourist pass can cover three days which provides access to the temple area of Seim Reap. I recommend a first visit with a government registered guide. Then return on later days to wander and really immerse yourself in the history. Make sure your camera is ready to take a lot of photos because you will find yourself snapping shots very quickly and often.

Choose a sun rise tour. I would recommend to get a 3 day pass. Day one go for a short circuit sun rise tour.
Day 2 go for a long circuit guided tour.
On the day 3, rent a bike and explore the place yourselves.

I hired a tuktuk to get to the temple at dawn to watch the sun rises behind the temple. I love that experience of capturing the sun rising along with hundreds of other tourists. Later I strolled inside the temple complex listening to live traditional music performed by local groups.
Mesmerising experience!

Go Early!
Go Early! The heat, humidity, and crowds can get you if your not careful, take plenty of water. Buy your tickets the day before and carry your passport with you as regular checks are made against the ticket names. Hire a Tuk-tuk and a three-day ticket to see many more temples (some are just as amazing as Ankor Wat!

This hotel is a gem. The service is amazing and the hotel and garden is really beautiful. The hotel organised a visit to Angkor Wat for us and the guide was superb.
Hotel near the center and pub street. We loved the meticulous cleaning, the size of the room, the kettle with teas and coffee, the kindness of all staff. For 3 days of visiting Angkor Wat, we asked at the reception for a tuc tuc and they called Khorn, an expert driver, patient, kind and caring without ever being intrusive. Very willing to answer our questions about Cambodian life we learned so many things from him. He made us love being in Cambodia
Wow!
Pretty much in the middle of hectic Seam Reap City Center & Angkor Wat the Hotel surrounds itself with greenery, an amazing pool & great equipped Gym.
Beds are wonderful to sleep, shower pressure top notch. Staff very polite and helpful - we definitly come Back soon!
The best location. Very clean and conformable room. Nice selection for breakfast.
And the staff were friendly, professional and helpful with any questions or help I needed. I had two tours arranged by the hotel for me (The Angkor Wat sunrise, and the Floating Village), and I was happy with both tours. Definitely would stay here again, and would recommend to anyone wanting good value accommodation in Siem Reap.
This is hotel is a wonderful oasis in Cambodia. A great location, walking distance to the night market, Pub Street and restaurants . Breakfast was delicious and happy hour drinks by the pool was a nice touch. Staff were amazing. They were very welcoming and no request was too big! They helped to arrange a tuk tuk tour of Angkor Wat , vouchers for lunch/dinner and transfers to the airport. We loved our room and the outside bath was a lovely touch.
Amazing green space in the middle of wonderful Cambodian Village 😊🫶
Owner Mr Mengly is a very kind and helpful person. Good quality of rooms, beautiful neighbourhood with delicious local food. Very close to Angkor Wat World Heritage area. Cheap airport transfer possible if agreed with Mr Mengly. True Cambodian life all around 😊 Different and better from expensive international hotels in the main city areas. I would go back willingly 😊🫶
Without question the best hotel in two months of travelling. Really helpful and happy staff. The extras were great (especially the free laundry in this heat!) very nice pool, good restaurant, free tuktuk into town. Well placed for Angkor Wat and other temples. We cycled for two days and then the hotel organised a car for Banteay Srei (35k away) with an excellent driver- Mr Sypha. He was really interesting about Cambodian history.
We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The best hotel during my trip in Cambodia. We loved the location, very calm and at a strategic middle way betweeen Angkor Wat site and Seam Reap city center. The knindess of the staff will pamper you and the swimming pool sourrounded by a reach vegetation will relax you after a full day at the wonderful archaelogical sites.Great value for money. We will come back.
Excellent hotel in walking distance to Siem Reap downtown. Our family of five got what I would call a whole apartment for our stay, very convenient with washing machine and kitchen for small preparations. A good pool and the hotel also provided us with an extensive breakfast to bring along for our sunrise visit to Angkor Wat, stood ready in the reception at 4:30 AM - much appreciated. Good, varied breakfast and all together a very nice place and stay for us.
This is an excellent hotel, we were so happy with our stay. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond, helping us print our tickets & Cambodian visa & arrange a Tuktuk driver around Angkor Wat. The room itself was lovely- very spacious, comfortable bed and with a huge outdoor space with private sun loungers. The pool was a nice touch and well maintained. Very affordable- we would highly recommend.

Do take a guided tour of the temples but not with Siem Reap Shuttle Tours - such an amazing place to visit with so much to learn and discover...shame we had the tour guide from "I don't like you because you won't buy the expensive lunch on offer" so he from then on hardly spoke to us! Incredibly rude and spoilt what should have been one of our best explorations. Out of eight people on the tour we were the only two to stick it out till the end as we only had the one day to see as much as we could...we then had to watch many programmes on Angkor Wat to find out what we had just seen! A big shame.
