Definitely worth a visit. The temples and architecture are amazing. We got a 3 day pass but only used it 2 days. Which were spectacular but I did feel a bit templed out by the end! There are so many to visit and they are all slightly different. We did the small and big tours.

Siem Reap was great!
Siem Reap was great! Get a 3-day temple pass as there are so many temples to visit. Most things are really cheap apart from the Mountain ticket which costs US$20. The boat trip costs US$15.
The Old Market area near Pub Street is a great place to mooch around. You can get a one-hour massage for US$6. Every one gets around on Tuk Tuk - make sure you have some small change available. Get some mosquito repellent as mozzies are rampant. Make sure to cover shoulders and knees when visiting temples.

I fell in love with Siem - from the temples, floating villages nearby, monk blessings and so much more. There are some great places to eat for various different budgets. Don’t sleep on Cuisine Wat Damnak if you’re a good - such a great value tasting menu exploring tradtional cambodian dishes.

Siem Reap is a beautiful and unusual Cambodian city.
Siem Reap is a beautiful and unusual Cambodian city. It is clean and green. There are bike lanes and sidewalks. It is very different from Phnom Penh. Pub Street reminded me of Europe. Angkor Wat is a must see. Be sure to ask one of the local guides to accompany you. It will mean very little without a guide. Another highlight of Siem Reap was the APOPO demining center where we learned about the humanitarian work to demine Cambodia and even held a Hero Rat. Loved Siem Reap, would go back in a heartbeat.

We absolutely loved Siem Reap.
We absolutely loved Siem Reap. We are so glad we added this onto our holiday. We flew into Phnom Penh from Vietnam and didn’t have the greatest start. Maybe we stayed in the wrong area, but we did not feel safe walking around at night etc. But Siem Reap was different. A lot more tourist friendly and welcoming. We walked everywhere. And the temples were the highlight of our trip. Great place to visit.

A small oasis in the middle of Siem Reap. Yorlan greeted me warmly and with a welcome drink. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and you can walk to the centre (pub street) in less than 10 minutes. If you want to visit the temples they will you help to get the best tours. The rooms are very clean and cosy. Every day you will get bottles of fresh water. I would also like to thank the friendly staff and the owner Edu of the hotel who made you feel like you were part of the family. See you soon!
This hotel and their service were our most magnificent place in Cambodia. The hotel are is stunning, quite but for Siem Reap just perfect. The rooms are clean, comfortable and with great equipment. The pool and breakfast speak for themselves and the warm greetings and overall caretakers experience made our stay a 12/10. We want to recommend this place to anyone, who is looking for a small luxury hotel with affordable prices. Well done, Sakmut Team, we will be back!
I recently stayed at this hotel in Siem Reap city and I must say it boasts the best location. The room was not only nice and comfortable but also provided a convenient sleep every night. The staff were always smiling and provided excellent service. The hotel was spotlessly clean in every corner. I absolutely loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
One of the best hotels I've ever been! Moreover, my valoration is also because we have some issues with the booking and they solved it the best way ever. They went an extra mile with us and, if possible, I would rate them higher than 5 stars. Thanks a lot to all the staff!
The staff was very friendly and attentive, just like a luxury hotel. The rooms were clean and if I come back to Siem Reap I would definitely stay here again.
