Did not have breakfast, its not really affordable, or the style of eating I usually consume. So it was more eating while travelling. Location was great, in that it was close to the JR station which we were using for travel further afield, as well as some great 'cheap' dinning!

Just outside of Utsunomiya station with everything you would need right around the hotel. Excellent service from the staff and a free breakfast in the morning.
Amazing location. Less than five minutes to Utsunomiya station and thus surrounded by great restaurants and izakayas. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff helped us find their partnered parking lot and made paying for our discounted parking ticket easy.
My second stay there. As always, got a great room with amazing bed and great breakfast. TV has applications such as Netflix and YouTube. And great location close to JR Utsunomiya station. The place to be at in Utsunomiya.
Located right outside Utsunomiya station, actually connected to the station. Shopping mall, grocery store, and convenience stores all within the same complex. The room and the hotel itself was extremely clean, and the view of the city from the room was spectacular. The “Sky Spa” outside bath on the top floor was amazing.
I have stayed in many different hotels in the Utsunomiya station area the last several years, but this one was by far the best! Location is excellent, right outside the station, the facilities were extremely clean, the staff were so friendly right from the moment I walked in the door. Room was bigger than most of the standard rooms here in Japan. Excellent all around!
Right outside of Utsunomiya station, lots of restaurants and bars all around, including my new favorite, “Lion’s Head Irish Bar” on the ground floor of Sunshine Hotel Utsunomiya. Staff were exceptionally professional and nice. Free breakfast and coffee for all guests!
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the facilities are well taken care of and the room was very clean. I think the price is also very reasonable. Even tho the hotel is very near Utsunomiya station, it's not noisy. We could not ask for more.
