We were on a 36 hour stopover and wanted to see Ueno.
This is an excellent budget hotel for a short stay. Very close to the station and Yamanote line to connect with airport monorail.
Very easy walk to both Asakusa and Ueno Park. A Lawson is on the diagonal corner to the hotel
The location is very convenient, close distance to JR and subway system. Close to Ueno park and national museums. Also close to Ueno market area where you can find all kinds of shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Very close to local Japanese daily life. The hotel gave us two rooms close to each other, four of us feel connected. We stayed for 7 days, pretty happy about the stay.
Good location for the north of Tokyo, close to Ueno park and museums, a short walk from the station. Nice staff and facilitites. The room with ensuite was very convenient and the bunk beds are ok, except for the stiffness of mattress.
The location is near train stations and tourist attractions. The inn is a few minutes from Ueno Park and Akihabara and is a few minutes away as well to different train and bus stations. The staff are accommodating and helpful and the room was clean. Would stay again travelling to Ueno.
Excellent location for a clean and well-organised hotel. Its fantastic location is the best point: near Ueno train Station, close to two metro stations, 5-min walk to Ueno Park, and near countlesss of typical restaurants. A good deep-dive into a less touristical Tokyo.
Good note: the luggages can be stored under the bed!

Wear VERY good walking shoes. Ueno Park and Asakusa are great places to walk around on foot. But you are going to have to use public transportation at some point on your trip.
