Offering free bikes and a garden, くまの蔵inn Warehouse in Shingū is close to Kamikura Shrine and Shingu Castle Ruins Park. This guest house offers free private parking, bicycle parking, and free Wifi.
The location allows one to access the train at Shingu station or the buses at Shingu-kokomae. All within 8-10mins walk.
Staff were helpful and allowed me to leave my bag before check-in. One can also buy breakfast for ¥1100.
The room I had was quiet and the bed quite comfortable.
Room was comfortable, they provided all amenities needed. The house is very clean and has a usable kitchen as well. Good location close to Shingu Station, stores and food!
The house is lovely, and although it's a bit of a trek from Shingu Station, is in a quiet part of town close to a kakigori shop, and also not far from Kamikura Shrine. As a bonus, I ended up having the entire place to myself, which made it much easier to recuperate from days of trekking along the Kumano Kodo.
