hotel was difficult to find, paid extra for room with a sea view ....room had sliver of a view on either side & was mainly blocked by a building.... chair was unusable as if didn't fit between the desk & the bed, & had to move a 'stool' from the bathroom to use my computer, bed skirt support was frayed & v old, concierge booked us at a crab restaurant with the wrong name & wrong map & then attempted to charge us for not showing up

Everything has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the hotel is conveniently located near Sannomiya Station. The room, particularly the bathroom, is more spacious than what you'd typically find at other hotels in the same price range.
The staff are so nice and polite. The room is larger than the average hotel room in Japan. They even have a convenience store in the Hotel !! Aslo a shuttle bus to Kobe station and Sannomiya station.
The hotel is fairly close to Sannomiya Station which has a subway to Shin-Kobe where the Shinkansen (bullet train) stops. Also close to a large number of shops and shopping arcade.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the coin laundry, as ever, very useful!
Everything about the hotel was excellent from the friendly and very efficient staff to the super and ample breakfasts. The cleaning staff and the restaurant staff were really good as well as being friendly. They literally could not do enough for me, in order to make my stay a good one.
Free drinks and snacks in the evening were also much appreciated after long days out with my Japanese family.
Location was perfect being only 5 minutes or so from Sannomiya station as well as very close to the coach station.
Hotel facilities are great, and so is the staff. Location couldn't be better, directly connected to Sannomiya Station. Got a room with great mountain view.
Room was excellent, clean and was larger than the usual Japanese "business standard". The larger bed was super comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located a short walk from JR Sannomiya station. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English and helped us with our Kobe beef restaurant selection. Price per night was a very good value.
1. Convenient (just about 2 minutes walk from Sannomiya station)
2. Hotel design and furnishing are fairly elegant
3. Each floor has an added layer of security, entering from the elevators.
4. Onsen is fairly large, and has both hot and cold pools, which I haven't seen in many hotels in Japan which I've stayed at before.
5. Amenities like toothpaste/toothbrushes, and water dispenser, provided together with the onsen.
Hotel is very clean and modern with friendly check-in staff. Short walk (just over 5 mins) from Sannomiya station. Room was great as well, slightly on the small side but that's par for most standard hotels in Japan. I had the "do not disturb" sign out during my stay and the cleaning staff kindly left clean towels and amenities hanging on the door handle each day.
Japanese-style breakfast buffet. Great location to reach Sannomiya station! (So close that you may hear the trains at night, but I didn't particularly mind.) Nice to have a small bathtub and fancy Japanese toilet. There were pyjamas you could borrow, slippers that you could take with you, and an all-you-can-read manga service in the hotel network.
