Location: facing the castle so you can't get any closer w/o scaling the walls.
Food: There is a fancy Chinese restaurant on the first floor. There is also a fancy Italian restaurant on the corner with a great wine selection, Pinot Nero and a chef with eye for quality. Walking distance to a great Food Street.
Back to the hotel. The staff is A1 Top Class! Customer service is definitely in the blood.

It's an apartment that you could actually live in, as opposed to a hotel room/typical AirBnB. Very spacious with all the facilities you'd need. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing and accommodating to my requests to store luggage after checkout. Great location, close to Odawara station if traveling by train.

Shuttle is available to pick up and Odawara station and drop off to nearby bus stop to go sightseeing around Hakone. Very nice and quiet place to relax and enjoy. We enjoyed the Japanese breakfast and dinner experience.
Beautiful room with beathtaking views of Lake Ashi and Mount Fuji. The indoor onsen was incredible and the food great. The free shuttles service to/from Odawara Station and to/from Moto-Hakone were very practical.
Loved the room with the private bath facing the lake. Wish the bath was real onsen instead of regular water. Rooms were very clean.
Dinner and breakfat selections were great with both Japanese and Western style buffet.
We had a group of 13 people but luckily we started at the first bus stop (Odawara Station) so we were able to go together. The hotel was the last stop so that helped as well. Staying somewhere in the middle with a large group of people would be a challenge since it can get crowded.
Absolutely Beautiful Facility, with a friendly and very helpful staff (I forgot to grab my backpack when I went up to my room, and a member of staff chased me up to the second floor to give it back to me), great japanese style dinner and breakfast service, comfortable and spacious rooms, and an absolutely amazing outdoor onsen (especially if you're lucky enough to use it early in the morning with nobody else there). The Bus to Odawara Station even stops right outside the building (and you can use the Hakone Free Pass to ride).

The onsen was wonderful, and dinner and breakfast made my mouth feel like heaven.
The property was very beautiful and serene. It was a bit of a trek to get to from Odawara station but still beautiful. The property was clean and spacious. Very relaxing. The private onsen was also fantastic. The room itself was also very spacious.
This was possibly the most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We were picked up from the Ashinoyu bus station by the on-call free hotel shuttle service and used the once a day morning shuttle to return to Odawara station. The hotel didn’t seem busy during our stay and we essentially had the baths (one indoor pool and one outdoor pool) to ourselves. The rooms and facilities were very clean and the tatamis extremely comfortable. The rooms were spacious for four people. We had an amazing time and would absolutely come back if in the area.
The breakfast and dinner were amazing. It is a very traditional Japanese Kaiseki meal so if you are picky then maybe it’s not for you. But I loved it. It’s definitely an experience. The location is perfect - Literally like a two minute walk to the train station and bus stop to the hakone ropeway and odawara station so if you have luggages, it’s not a problem. Staff were also really attentive.
Loved the private onsen on the balcony of our room, and enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner options. It was nice to have the free shuttle from Odawara station rather than taking public transit, but the ropeway was very close to the hotel. The ferry was also very close to the hotel so it was easy to get around with the Hakone Freepass.
