It is quite a trek to get to the Meiji Jingu Shrine.
It is quite a trek to get to the Meiji Jingu Shrine. If you have limited time, I recommend that you allocate your time somewhere else. However, if it is non-negotiable, designate more time to get there.

No comments as I was too tired to appreciate the place as I have compressed discs problem. Sorry.
Can’t remember the places we visited. We were at Mt Fuji, nice and interesting. Probably my other siblings can do better.

Absolutely beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful! There was a wedding while we were there, so it was a unique experience. If you have time, tour the whole grounds, it’s lovely! Make sure to wash your hands & mouth at the water station before you enter the main gates to show respect & bring some coins with you.

Beat the crowds by visiting Meiji Jingu Shrine early in the morning. Not only will you enjoy a peaceful atmosphere amidst the tranquil surroundings, but you'll also have the opportunity to purchase a Gohoshoucho, a stamp book, to commemorate your visit. Don't forget to get a gochisou, a special token or souvenir, to cherish your memories of this sacred site.

This is a worthwhile visit in Tokyo.
This is a worthwhile visit in Tokyo. Directly across from a very busy shopping district (Harajuku), one can walk slowly among tall trees in quiet reflection. The grounds are well-kept and the shrine is beautiful. Note: Walk on the side paths. The center is meant for the gods.
