The lady staff who checked us in when we arrived was very professional and kind. She followed us to the public car park nearby to park our car and brought us umbrella to make sure we don't get wet as it was raining. Excellent customer service which you will not receive in big hotels!
Room was spacious and clean which comes with a big and nice bathroom.

If you plan to visit Chikubu Island. It's the perfect place to stay as the ferry terminal is just across the road. It's close to other attractions in Nagahama as well. The hotel is sprawling and huge. The staff was cheerful and helpful. The room is comfortable and quiet. Breakfast collection was good and I had it in front of a window offering a great, close-up view of Biwako

From the pickup at Maibara station we had a great experience at Biwafront Hikone. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home.
