i don’t think i would enjoy rishiri this much if i haven’t stayed at this place. yuki is an impeccable host, knows a lot about this island and many things as he himself is a seasoned traveler as well. couldn’t recommend this place more. moreover, staying in kutsugata area where this inn is located gives you more choice of restaurant, including the incredibly famous ramen place, miraku, compared to oshidomari area close to the ferry terminal/airport.

Everything was very clean and easy. Wonderful to rent an e-bike and ride around the island. Staff speak English well. Transportation offered to and from the ferry, as well as to the mountain.

Rebunshiri is a very basic ryokan but nice, and a good find in a difficult place to book accomodation. It had tatami rooms, the staff were helpful, and the location is ideal for hiking the island.

Came back to reminisce about the hotel I used to rave about. Rishiri Island and the trip by ferry did not disappoint. If only the hotel were as awesome as the volcano and sky.

Location is very convenient near the ferry, shops including restaurants, and one of the island's onsens not too far away. The sea view from my room and from the bathroom was so refreshing! It was clean and fresh with ample supplies of towels and yukata (and coffee!) - and a helpful manager.
