I ordered both dinner and breakfast, and the meals were the best part of choosing this hotel.

We slept well here. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Good shower. The free parking and generous breakfast buffet were appreciated. In addition to each room's private bathroom, there are separate public baths for men and women on the ground floor.

Set in Miyako and only 43 km from Kamaishi Recovery Memorial Stadium, Hotel Omiya offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.
I like the location as it is near to Jodogahama beach and yet at a very quiet corner. The breakfast and dinner are good - in both selection and quality.
Location is perfect for Jodogahama beach, this is probably the only hotel you can walk to the beach from to catch the sunrise. The sea facing rooms also have an amazing view to catch the sunrise if you don’t want to walk down to the beach (10 minutes). Dinner buffet has great selection of local specialties with descriptions in Japanese. The hotel also has a good onsen with both indoor and outdoor onsen, and the men’s and women’s switch from one day to the next.
