The location is as good as they get for people using the Shinkansen - adjoining the station. I stayed because a typhoon caused a shutdown of rail service between Nagoya and Tokyo and I chose the site because it offered the best chance of getting to my hotel without being drenched, so I was disappointed to see that there was a 30-meter stretch where I had to leave the covered sidewalk to get to the door of the Mariott. Had it been coming down in buckets, I would have been soaked.

The location was near to Shin Osaka station, just 5- 7 mins walk. So it was easier to move in with luggage. The beds were good and rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The staffs were very helpful.
