Absolutely everything was perfect. The loveliest hosts, Rika and Gareth, who were supportive, personable and friendly throughout. The food was absolutely delicious! We even shared an amazing Christmas dinner together with the hosts and other guests. The location and facilities were perfect. The hosts are by far the warmest, most supportive and caring hosts we have ever experienced and they will do absolutely everything to ensure that their guests are comfortable, happy and instantly feel at home. Location is great. Rooms are nice and clean. Looks like a ski hotel in the city that all considered is very well kept and close enough to walk to towns stores and restaurants.

Nice hotel, the room was surprisingly spacious, central Kitanonomine area, the staff were very nice. There's a couple bars and restaurants a short walk away. I was there in Autumn so it was cheap for the level of quality

The onsen was great (very hot!) and I loved the sauna. The staff were wonderful and very helpful with our transportation and reservations. The location was excellent for skiing and rental gear pickup.

Room - About the typical hotel room size in Japan but slightly smaller. Bags had to be closed to get space, and the coffee/TV corner was small, and putting the hot water kettle on a high shelf is actually potentially dangerous. :(
We did not get the breakfast package.
It was a few minutes walk from the main furano station. Had a great coffee shop on the first floor.
Also they had a kitchen with full of facilities in case you want to cook by yourself.
Shower and bathroom were really clean.
The location of Hostel Tomar is near the JR Furano Station and there are many nice restaurants within a 5-15min walking distance. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They provided many great recommendations on places to visit and eat. Hostel Tomar also has many facilities including a big shared kitchen and a rooftop bar that opens in the summer. You could also rent bicycles to explore the area at an affordable price. Overall, the hostel is clean and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that the guests' stay is comfortable
Perfect place for a family trip. There are complete facilities like kitchen appliances, washing machine and dryer. The room size is quite large and comfortable. The location is close to groceries and restaurants, also walking distance to Furano station and the bus stop to go to the ski resort, or to Sapporo (with Chuo Bus).
New hotel that is convenient to the JR Furano station and the ski hill. Free parking and onsen. Hotel staff were friendly as well. Good value and a comfortable stay. Lots of amenities inside the hotel.
Very comfortable and well located place to stay. Wonderful staff. Shared bath, which can be busy if the ryokan is full but very clean and well maintained. Staff is available any time you need anything. Provided city bicycles for our use at no charge. Easy walk from Furano Station and almost across the street from Marche Furano. Great value. Recommended.
