Il Salotto della Regina was everything we could have hoped for as our first place to stay in Italy. The room was clean, modern, well lit, well air conditioned, and impressively quiet for being on Riviera Chiaia. The bed was comfortable with a memory foam topper. The bathroom had a rain shower, and nice new fixtures and lights. It even had a highly amusing "disco light" in the for some reason.
Breakfast was fresh and terrific each morning. Wherever they get their pastries was out of this world. Staff stood by and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our breakfast, making cappucino or espresso.
I was blown away by the staff in general they were friendly and helpful at check in/out as well as asking if we needed anything each time we passed the front desk. We had some lovely conversations asking about our tourism outings and they gave some very helpful suggestions. They were fantastic and made us feel so welcome we were a little sad to leave.
The location is also very convenient. Buses can be grabbed on Riviera Chiaia, the Linea 2 Metro station at Mergellina is a short walk west, and Linea 6 has a new station to the east.

This is a special property in an old reserved building in the heart of the old city of Napoli. The city should take more pride in its public places. Trash was strewn about the square, often overflowing its containers. Graffiti was prevalent and landscaping and gardening were left to the squirrels and rats.

The location of the apartment is in the Historic District of Naples.
A five minute walk takes you to the Metro station called Piazza Cavour which is only one quick stop from the Naples Central Train Station.
It is a larger studio apartment with plenty of room. It is exceptionally clean and has many large closets for storage.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a nice 4 burner gas stove and oven.
The rooms were big enough and the apartment was well equipped and very clean. The closest metro station is Piazza Cavour, 10 minutes walk. Very polite and communicative owner. The area is safe and has great restaurants for sea food and pizza just across the street. Very good choice for families!
Very close to the both metro stations (Museo and Piazza Cavour). The host was very friendly and helpful in everything we asked to. Breakfast was in standby for our 3 days , enough for starting the day. Even the drinks were enough , mineral water and fruits. After we left the room , Cristina (the host) helped us with putting our stuff in the luggage room for having a ,,light" walking in the remaining 4 hours before our flight. Thanx for all and A RIVEDERCI PRESTO !
