The location was excellent and safe, which was important as I was traveling alone and visiting Italy the first time. The staff were so kind and I was well taken care of. Immediately upon arrival I was given a map and recommendations of places to see. They have a small elevator to go up with luggage. The room was spacious and with a beautiful view of the Roman Forum. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable so I slept very well. Location was close enough to Termini (20 min walk) that I just walked from the station. Food options were plentiful right outside and everything was within walking distance. Farthest place I visited was the Vatican which was a 50-60 min walk. I would definitely stay here again!

We were welcomed with flights of Prosecco while they checked us in. The staff were just amazing and friendly! The room was small but we had a beautiful view. The location is incredible. Just a 7 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. The breakfast was also delicious. Best one we had on the trip!

The Colosseum
The fights! The glory! This iconic arena specialized in gory ends. Built in the 1st century, it held up to 80,000 spectators who came to witness gladiatorial combat and bloody reenactments of naval battles. When you look up at the stands, it doesn’t take much imagination to hear the deafening roar of the crowds or to picture the fierceness on display.

Missed our booking to see inside due to traffic issues across Rome so leave yourself plenty of time to get to your allocated time booking if you decide to have a guide. A great place for the masses to visit walking around the area too.

Be patient because you will be navigating hoards of people.
Be patient because you will be navigating hoards of people. Some of the rudest encounters with people barging past and literally slapping my youngest with backpacks happened here. However, it's incredible to stand in this place. Seeing it at sunset is magical and the views from Palatine hill are totally worth it. Don't purchase the Rome Tourist Card with Tiqets - you will be horrendously overcharged for standard entry. Consider a tour (there's probably so much you'll never know just wandering around) or plan ahead and book direct.

Our tour guide took way to much time explaining the history than letting us see the area.
2 minutes on the ground level. Paid $$ for that experience. Totally disappointed!

Such an amazing and famous building which felt incredible being there after knowing about it all my life. However it is very overcrowded and we went at the end of September. I'd like to go back again in the winter when hopefully it's less busy. The 'full experience' tickets can only be bought online which we found out after queuing for a while and then found out they were sold out online. So it's probably worth booking a couple of days ahead for that. The basic entry was still fine though and you see most of it anyway. The Palatine hill and Roman Forum are very cool though and not too crowded

Great place, BUT the tickets for the full experience tour is online ONLY buy in advance 3-4 weeks before leaving. Also if you are thinking of buying normal entry tickets from the ticket office once there, Do NOT FORGET YOUR PASSPORT OR DRIVING LICENCE ID without one of these you will not be sold a ticket.
It’s a 15-minute walk to the colosseum. You can take the metro from Termini to Manzoni station, which is a 3-minute walk from the hotel. We walked from termini to the hotel, and it took about 20-25 minutes walk. I recommend taking the train instead. Staff were kind and the room was great.
My boyfriend and I had a great experience at Sole e Luna. This hotel is about 13 minutes' walk to the Colosseum, and there's a metro station to Vaticano and Termini Station just two blocks away from the hotel. Giordano and all the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are large, and spotlessly clean. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel, something we found very convenient. We definitely stay again at Sole e Luna hotel.
The location was very ideal and close to the Colosseum. This apartment was perfect with a clean and comfortable bedroom, mini fridge, and bathroom. I would definitely stay there again!
The Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Altare della Patria are all within sight from this lovely hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and a nice breakfast bar right outside the door. It’s an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Piazza di Spagna, while the metro is close by and only one stop from Roma Termini. The rooms are clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
The beautiful apartment is in an excellent location that was just a short walk to the Colosseum and a number of landmarks, as well as restaurants, and a bus stop across the street. Monica and Luca were excellent hosts, easy to reach and very accommodating.
We loved the place. The apartment is in an excellent location - 5 minutes from the Colosseum, 5 minutes from the metro.
50 meters to the right you can buy cakes for breakfast, 50 meters to the left - excellent sandwiches for lunch...
Everything was neat and clean, the kitchen was properly equipped.
Nothing was missing....
The hospitality was excellent, the service of Lucia was above and beyond, highly recommended 👍
The property is in a great location, close to the train station, the metro station and the bus stops and also a good walking distance from the Colosseum and main attractions.
The staff are great, polite and helpful always willing to answer questions about the hotel and about Rome, as well as practical questions that you may have!
Cleaning is done every day and done very well!
This apartment is about 5 minutes walking distance to the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and the Colosseum. It included 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms along with a sofa couch and a full kitchen. The host was very welcoming and responsive before and during our stay, he even gave us a bunch of freshly baked chocolate muffins that were delightful. The kitchen was also fully equipped with plates, cutlery, and even a microwave.
Location was incredible! Apartment is spacious and lots of room for a
Family! The coffee shop below is a fun addition! Couldn't ask for a better location for New Yeas Eve! Literally the Colosseum is out your front door! The management team were super kind , great communicators and helpful!
The apartment was well laid out with plenty of wardrobe space with a comfortable bed & pillows.
It had a well equipped kitchenette and the apartment was beautifully decorated.
The shower was spacious and had good water pressure.
The location was excellent, only 10 minutes walk from St Peter's Square and 30 minutes walk to the Colosseum.
There are plenty of cafe's, restaurants and bars right on your doorstep.
I would definitely recommend Raffaello Charmsuite's for a stay in Rome.
