Very nice, clean hotel - good facilities, very nice breakfast spread, helpful staff. You can’t ask for a much better location for visiting the Vatican. Rooms felt spacious (though we had a room for 3) by Rome standards and they’ve done what they can with the space in terms of efficient bathroom design.

There were three of us in the room and it wasn’t one big room but two singles in one room and another little room with another single. This suited as well as travelling for five weeks it gave someone a chance for some personal space. A little bit of noise from music a couple of nights but nothing that bothered us. We were not in the road side of the hotel. Lovely reception and sitting area downstairs and gorgeous roof top sitting area/ honesty bar. Staff were really friendly and good at advising good places to go. They also organised a taxi for us for the last day as we had to ge at the airport at 6.30am. Right on the bus line from the Rome Termini bus station. Good location near Campo de Fiori and walkable distance (30 min max) to all the sites. We just walked everywhere. Loved our stay!

The hotel was dirty and smelly, the receptionist was racist and rude! He kept screaming and talked to us in pure racism. His name is “Patrizro”.
The bathroom was dirty and yellow, the towels smelled like vinegar. The shower was dirty. The furniture was worn out and brought from the middle age! The bed was awful. There were bugs in the hotel. Elevator was so slow. Service was so slow, there was no complimentary water only on request. Curtain was broken. The hotel was very noisy. The AC was loud and made a lot of noises. It was so outdated there were actual keys for the doors.
Mirrors had things written on them.
The only good thing was the doorman, he wad super friendly and “Giuseppe” was very helpful.

We spent three days in Rome with our adult daughters. It was hot and crowded with tourists. We did the touristy things and glad we were able to "check" the box. Food and wine were amazing. So many options. The girls liked the shopping. I wish it was a bit cooler and less crowded.

One whole day in Rome is just not enough to really see and feel the rhythm of the city. Beside, it was a rainy day, but we were on holidays, so we took it easy and enjoy the moments. Crowded (as expected) on most typical sightseeing location around the town. But this is after all Rome, you could spend weeks there - just to see the the fragments of everything city has to offer.

Our trip was just two night, but in the shoulder seasons we would have stayed longer. The heat and crowds were overwhelming at times. Great credit to Rome for how they handle the number of tourists. The streets are kept pretty tidy. Our one concern visiting Rome this time was the pick pocket warnings, but with the number of police and security around we were able to relax and enjoy.

I loved the accessibility of sites from each other.
I loved the accessibility of sites from each other. Each place you may want to visit is no more than 15 to 20 minutes from another one. It made each day's walk manageable. There are also cool churches to stop at between each since it gets very hot under the sun.

Rome is a great city full of history and great architecture. The problem for me was that it was so hot (I visited at the end of June) and it was so crowded. The touristic nature of the city makes it difficult to visit certain locations.

Rome has changed over the years, and not necessarily for the better. The summer crowds, which begin in late May are huge, with long lines for most all attractions. Getting to see such marvels of the Sistine Chapel or the Pantheon became excruciating, just too many people. Tours are oversold, and again, the lines are awful, even with 'skip the line tours'. I was saddened by the sight of trash along the streets and the abundant amount of graffiti on buildings. Many sites, like Palazzo Navona, where there are 3 gorgeous Bernini fountains are walled up under construction, but no work has been done for ages, yet it remains boarded up. Rome needs to step up and clean up. If you go, I would suggest early spring or late fall, when the crowds have dispersed.
This hotel was my best stay in Italy. It was close to two metro lines and also to the Colosseum (you can literally go walking). The staff was very helpful, my room was large enough for me (individual traveller), every day when I returned the room was made up, everything was clean and they have elevators in case you don't want to use the stairs. The breakfast was simple but very good and I enjoyed very much to eat it every day. I do strongly recommend the hotel if you ever visit Rome.
We had a wonderful weekend in Rome! It's a family hotel with very friendly and helpful hostesses - Francesca and her mother. The hotel offers stylish and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need: a fridge, a kettle, a TV. The bed is very comfortable, and the area is quiet. I especially want to mention the delicious homemade breakfast with eggs, yogurt, ham, pastries and coffee, which is quite diverse for Italy. I highly recommend staying at this hotel👍
I spent my birthday weekend here (my first time in Italy) and everything was lovely! From the moment I arrived the nice lady at reception made sure to answer my questions, and even gave me recommendations on where to go in Rome (with a map). The suite itself was gorgeous and the location is beautiful. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants close to the hotel. I plan to visit Rome again next year and I will definitely consider booking here again. :)
We are definitely staying at this hotel for our next trip to Rome. Checkin was remote but very easy. The staff is so wonderful, friendly and speaks English fluently (after two weeks in Italy this was so welcoming!!). The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The area is nice, safe and in close proximity of the historical landmarks. Because it’s a business area (lots of bureaucrats) there are many good places for breakfast and lunch nearby.
It is the best hotel we had reserved in Italy. It’s high value for money. It was not only good location but also reasonable in price. It had great facilities and clean rooms. The staffs were very kind and enthusiastic. But we didn’t have breakfast because we forgot that our hotel bill included breakfast. I hope I can taste breakfast next time I go to Rome.
