A great hotel! A 20 minute walk to a beautiful black beach! We had it all to ourselves! Dinner and breakfast were excellent!

Everything was perfect! Serene environment, beautifully designed, delicious food, wonderful service, tranquil spa, comfortable beds, horses, sheep, and dogs that greet you…I could go on and on.

Breakfast was great. The staff was polite. The location was very convenient, right off the Ring road. We were very late getting in and had trouble unlocking our room. We had to call for help, but the lady who helped us was patient and kind and we were ultimately able to get in. The room was clean, if minimal, and the shower had good water pressure (which seemed to be the pattern throughout our stay in Iceland)

The best waterfall in whole of iceland.
The best waterfall in whole of iceland. We could go so close to the waterfall and get totally drenched. That was an amazing and memorable experience. Very next to the falls are the steps to go to the top and view the falls from there. Loved it.

Conveniently located by the Skogafoss waterfall. Busy when we got there, but we were able to enjoy the waterfall after all the tours left. Great location.
Great location just under a km from Skogafoss waterfall.
Very convenient if you like to enjoy the waterfall in the early morning or at night (photography). Private entrance and private bathroom for the single room. Nice shared kitchen with all amenities. Single room is very small, but serves its purpose perfectly. Host even left a small heater in case I needed it for the cold night. Would stay again.
I liked this place. It is pretty small, but it was quite comfy. Single room has separate entrance from all the rest, which is 2 steps away from the main entrance. Shared kitchen is really nice and had everything I needed, also there is an amazing view of Skogafoss waterfall, mountains and many sheep in the field. Location is good, check-in easy. Didn't meet the host but communication was good. Overall, good place to stay for a couple of nights in South Iceland!
Clean room. Big room so we could fit all 4 of us. Location near the Skógafoss waterfall. Great breakfast. Have a gym/ ping pong table my kids enjoyed. Walking around the hotel was awesome - forest, grass, a lot of birds.
Hotel Skoga is self-check in. They provide you with an access code that opens both the front door as well as the room. Our room looked out over the fields and mountains behind the property, which was incredibly beautiful. You will only hear the sound of sheep and birds if you keep the window open at night. We took advantage of the hot tub and the breakfast was nothing fancy, but good. This property is located a short distance from Skogafoss Waterfall, which has a restaurant next to it that we ate dinner at. Great food with a great view!
The view from the back porch of this guesthouse was amazing! You could see Skogafoss waterfall, which was just a minute drive from this location. The guesthouse was clean and the kitchen came with all the basic amenities one would need. We would 100% stay here again!
