My husband and I were amazed by how beautiful the hotel is, and the amenities offered are outstanding. The staff was absolutely attentive, courteous, and welcomed us like family. The breakfast buffet is the best in all of Iceland. I feast fit for a King & Queen. We chose to have our dinners in the restaurant with a picturesque view of the lake and the chef's menu was superb. We also enjoyed our only view of the Aurora Borealis at Hotel Kriunes after traveling Iceland's Ring Road for 10 days. We would highly recommend Hotel Kriunes for your stay . It's a quick transport to everything while being privately tucked into a solitude area.

The self-check-in process was a breeze and staff was very responsive for any questions I had during my stay. Most of the time, they seem to be off-site but were very accommodating to meeting me when the payment terminal wasn't working and when I needed to store my luggage.
The property itself is gorgeous! Having a kitchenette in the room was so nice to have in case I wanted to cook for myself instead of going out to eat. The bed was extremely comfortable, I'm not sure if there were others in rooms nearby because I couldn't hear anything through the walls - which is always nice. It's outside of down-town so it was quiet at night as well.
