Comfy beds. Didn't get chance to go in the hot tubs but nice touch. They were not natural ones from the looks of things but lots of people using them so must have been warm. Wish we could have stayed longer tbh. Great powerful and warm shower and great view (although I think I paid extra possibly for that...?) the tomato farm and bistro was lovely, there was a free olive platter as part of the stay which was good. Would also recommend the Mika restaurant although it is pricey (but no more so than rest of Iceland really)
This highland hotel offers a restaurant with traditional Icelandic lamb and seafood dishes. Located by the Hvita River, it is just 3 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. WiFi is free.

Location is great, food at the restaurant is excellent too. Clean and warm rooms.
We saw our first aurora outside the hotel..! Hotel is located very near to Geysir, we went there first thing in the morning when there's no crowd (in fact we went 3 times !! )
Great location, in the middle of nature but so close to the geysir and Gulfoss. The room was nice and spacious. You can have dinner after 6 pm. The food was good. I recommend this hotel.
Friendly staff; cozy, unique vibe - almost like a hostel for families; great location, close to Gullfoss and Great Geysir; beautiful view; horses and a friendly dog
Hotel was great, I believe it is a golf club, part of the bigger hotel near by. It was very spacious, if you are golf lover, right on the doorstep. Breakfast was at the main hotel, 3 mins walk, great selection of food. Hotel is located literally next to Geysir, which can be accessed at any time of the day for free. Bistro & restaurant is at the same location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a far drive from Gullfoss waterfalls.
The hotel is nice to upgrade us to the Hotel Geysir and is very comfortable and luxurious, with a big bathtub. Best hotel of my trip. Very thankful for the hotel kind gesture. The hotel is near to the Geysers and Gullfoss. Highly recommended.
We were upgraded from Little Geysir to Geysir Hotel. I think LG closed and G just opened, so everything new.
Receptionist appeared to really care about providing a good service and making sure you had a good visit.
Everything modern and new.
The hotel is in a beautiful location, a bit remote but still close to some main attractions (waterfall, geysir). The rooms are nice and spacious and the surrounding is nice and quiet. The facilities are new and the restaurant ist very nice. The food there was excellent and very fresh. We really enjoyed the fresh lamb and fish with the homemade bread. The breakfast was also very nice and had lots of fresh food to offer. Parking is right in front of the door.
My husband and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon trip to Iceland. When we got there they had upgraded our room to a balcony unit at their sister hotel, hotel geysir. The room was huge with a view of the geysir, plus a beautiful bathroom. Not to mention they gave us free glass of wine at dinner. Exceeded our expectations and made our first night on our honeymoon amazing!!
