Great waterfront views and charming peaceful stay
Stayed here 2 nights and its a great spot away from the busy town but very easily reached by rickshaw/auto within 5 min.
The rooms open out on a balcony right on the water where you can read a book and enjoy watching the boats go by.
I stayed in the upstairs wooden room which was dark and charming.
The village and canoeing tour they offer is fantastic- I would highly recommend. Great price and it takes you outside of the main waterway, with breakfast and lunch at a local home. I really enjoyed it.
A few points to note if staying here - not exactly a negative, but just to be aware:
- You have to walk 2-3 min on gravel to reach the place from nearby road but the manager can help with bags
- aircon is charged as extra 500 per night, as sometimes the fan is sufficient so they give customers a choice
- The shower head is not connected to the hot water. You have to make sure the water heater gets turned on (sometimes at the mains with manager) and then one of the manual taps below gives hot water separately, which you can mix in a bucket provided and have warm water to wash that way
- There is no food or cooking facilities on the premises and not closeby that I could see, but they do partner with a few restaurants who will easily deliver. It’s easy to order on whatsapp direct to restaurant or the manager is quick to help. Note that I tried Thaff and it was rather average compared to other places I ate in Kerala. But you can always explore and order from other places.
- The bed is pretty hard and it was a mosquito net on top of- because the windows/doors dont have mosquito covers. I ended up keeping the door/window open most of the time because I really enjoyed the view on the water and hence the bed net was helpful
Overall a great value location right on the water and quietly charming.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. The Indian-style breakfast was a nice touch. The premises had a fresh, new feel to them. Just some minutes' walk to the beach.

Our stay at this hotel met our expectations for a 5-star property in India. The room was spacious, modern, and clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep.
From check-in to check-out, the staff was consistently friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The reception team, restaurant staff, and management were all wonderful, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay.
As we visited during Christmas, the hotel was quite busy, but the F&B manager thoughtfully offered to reserve a table for us in advance, which we truly appreciated.
For those planning a backwaters trip, keep in mind that the embarkation point is about a 10-minute drive from the hotel. We were leaving early for a sunrise tour at 5 am, and the receptionist was incredibly helpful in arranging a rickshaw for us.

The pool, games room and restaurant were superb. Really nice facilities and a little oasis in the madness of Alleppey. Clint was the best host possible, went out of his way to ensure we had a great trip.
