Our favorite hotel of our India holiday. The property is gorgeous! On check in Balveer greeted us and made us feel at home right away. A short tour of the property, including the history and timings of the onsite restaurant was wonderful. We were left to relax while the staff were always on hand if we needed anything.
In the evenings, the traditional music was a treat and added to the ambiance of the restaurant - which served fantastic food. If like me you struggle to decide what to have - the waiters are more than happy to advise and guide you on local foods. Our waiter was lovely to chat too - very knowledgable on the area and surrounds. (I'm kicking myself that I have forgotten his name!).
Ratan Vilas is an oasis in a very busy city - and the pool gives you somewhere to escape too in the afternoon heat.
Rooms are super spacious and extremely comfortable.
Nothing is too much effort for the team here - from help with getting a taxi, tuk tuk, restaurant booking or recommendations on where to go. I cant wait to return to the blue city and will without a doubt be staying here!

The owner was an incredibly kind and laid back host. The guest house is great value, with clean, nicely decorated rooms that offer a sweeping view of Jodhpur and the fort. With regards to location, it's ideally set and within walking distance of Jodhpur Fort, Jaswant Thada and the stepwell.
The location of the stay was very good even all the places where I needed to travel was near by like jaswant thada and meherangarh fort and the railway station is also nearby if you don't have much bags you can walk till that place.

The toproof terrasse is world class. On the one side is the old fort high above so majestic and on the other side an awesome view of the beatiful blue town and the rest of Jodhpur.

The roof top view was spectacular. Easy walk up to the fort (excellent) and Jaswant Thada (beautiful). Family run couldn't do enough to make you comfortable, suggest outings or bring a very timely cold beer. Good value great service
It was a fabulous stay in Gouri haveli. It's around 500 meters from the city and clock tower, 1.5km from fort and jaswant thada, 250 meters from Toorji ka jhalra.
Staff behaviour is like family members.
The food was tasty and the heigine. The room was also very neat and clean. Roof top restaurant and can get meharangarh fort view from the terrace itself.

Well located in the old part of jodhpur important sights are walkable like 15 minutes it's has a nice from the roof top of blue houses fort,Jaswant thada place,umaid bhavan place the rest of the blue city .

Excellent hospitality and food. Reaching the hotel with innova was a challenge but that was known at the time of booking only. Right in the center of old city. Superb views of old city, fort and Jaswant Thada from rooftop. Very good views of fort from large windows. Booked top floor fort view room which was like a royal room. Bathroom was well appointed and one of the best we found in Rajasthan. No lift with steep stairs so senior citizens please be aware.
