The Jallianwala Bagh has been made into a an excellent showcase of the tragedy that befell here and its been portrayed poignantly by encapsulating the history around it. Luckily, its a large area and allows you walk around, listen and read at your own pace. The downside of the memorial are our very own Indian tourists who clearly have no understanding of what the history is and the related tragedy here and have made this a selfie ground - selfies in front of the bullet holes on walls that have been preserved, selfies everywhere.
It would be nice if the government actually ran this as group tours with fixed number of people like they do in places like Auschwitz, where history can be learned and mood and tone of the place maintained rather this being treated like a holiday with children running amok, babies wailing and everyone else taking selfies. It was sad to see how selfies have triumphed any and all attempts at educating the new age public in what was a turning point in the India's struggle for freedom.

I booked the trip remotely for my mother's stay during her visit to Amritsar, and the owner was vey helpful throughout her stay. He made all necessary arrangements, and was very kind in all his interactions. The hotel's location is great - with the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh very close, and a lot of restaurants just around the hotel. The rooms are clean with warm water as well.
Loved the location - it is close the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Partition Museum and some local markets. It is in the old city so the experience is quite unique. The breakfast was good, we loved the paranthas and kulchas from a local dhaba. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to go above and beyond to ensure your concerns and questions are dealt with. For the price, it's a decent hotel.
The location was perfect, at the heart of the city next to famous dhabas and places like golden temple, jallianwala bagh. The hotel was beautifully maintained and the staff was very polite.
The location of the hotel is great. Just a few minutes walk to the Golden temple and Jallianwala Bagh. The rooms are quite small but nicely done . The travel desk representative is very helpful and efficient in his work.
Location wise, perfect location... Just 5 mins walking distance to golden temple and even lesser to jallianwala bagh.
The staff was also very cooperative and provided excellent services, we could even order food late night with no problem at all.
Dont go by outside building looks, first enter inside, check the rooms and experience it for yourself.
The rooms are great, properly cleaned and spacious.
