Everything was good. Quite a good varieties for breakfast that too served fresh directly on the table. Room was quite spacious and well equipped. I believe its one of the best location in Mumbai even after being in the heart of the city there was not much sound pollution and traffic.

I spent a weekend at Abode Bombay in one of their suites, and it was such a memorable experience. Here are some highlights:
1. The Space: The design of the hotel is absolutely beautiful—every detail is so intentional. It’s warm and full of charm while still offering all the modern amenities you’d want. They’ve managed to preserve the original character of the building, and it really stands out from the typical hotel vibe. Plus, it’s so photogenic—you can’t take a bad picture here!
2. The Staff: From the moment I arrived, the team was welcoming, attentive, and super helpful. They made the whole stay feel effortless and ensured I was always comfortable.
3. The Location: If you’re looking to explore, the hotel is in a great spot. It’s within walking distance of art galleries/museums, restaurants, shops, and historic landmarks—perfect for soaking up everything Mumbai has to offer.
4. The Bathtub: I have to give a special shoutout to the gold bathtub in my suite. It was such a luxurious touch, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave my room because of it!
Overall, Abode Bombay is perfect if you’re after a stay that’s stylish, comfortable, and conveniently located. It has this quiet, boutique luxury vibe without trying too hard - that makes it feel really special. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Mumbai.

It’s sad to see the iconic monument in complete neglect - it felt that the authorities are waiting for it to disintegrate and fall apart . A smelly toilet greets you as you alight from a taxi to enter the ramparts of the monument and the get pestered by photographers who still have not understood paper photos cannot be used in Social media - they just need their phones and charge Rs 10 for a click and add unique filters and they will be a rage . I had booked a bed for my uncle as he was coming to Mumbai from Kolkata urgently at the same time this was his first time in Mumbai. Due to some issues, I had to cancel his way back flight to Kolkata. The location is very perfect for people who go for a night stay and explore Marine Drive, Gateway of India, historic CSTM railway station, Church Gate station, Wankhede Stadium, etc. Overall I strongly recommend this property for everything to future travelers. This is a wonderful boutique hotel near the Gateway of India. The hotel faces the harbor and you can get great view from the rooftop restaurant, where breakfast is also served. (Psst ask for the masala omelette) Staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort.
