Had a great stay with the accommodating folks at the Ginger House led by George the manager, who arranged for an auto rickshaw for me for one day and a car for the next and was easily able to facilitate for me to do some touring and just get to do that on the spot. Most of his recommendations were must-do events or sights (one friend told me I did more in a weekend than he did in 4 visits).
The restaurant is solid too. I had lunch and breakfast there and it was very good. The facilities were clean and large and comfortable and it is well located in the Jew Town (yeah that’s the name) district in Kochi.

The hotel architecture and decor is lovely - beautiful tiles, photo-worthy hotel, bright inviting colours, poolside relaxation and super convenient location right near all the shops etc. You will be approached by driver/tour touts right at the front door though!
Afternoon chai time by the pool is a nice touch, the chai has a nice spicy ginger kick to it!

Staff were excellent! Super helpful and accommodating to our every need. The place is centrally located in Kochi and convenient. Just where you want to stay most especially when you are 7,000 miles from home in a Country you have never once been to. We appreciated their cleanliness and kindness very much. Breakfast was nice but unfortunately, we did not eat any other meals there.
