The location is simply amazing , albeit be prepared to climb a few stairs to the entrance of the hotel ! Staff is very courteous and helpful at all times and the boat pick up and drop provided is super convenient. Food is delicious too and the small touches like an authentic classical dance program every evening add to the charm - highly recommend!

I liked everything here. The bedroom was spacious and comfy. It was a new, neat and clean property. The room was quiet so I slept very well. The staff couldn't do enough to help you. It was walking distance to a couple of pubs where we had meals. It's only a couple of kms from the major attractions but it's nice to be out of that hustle and bustle. It was an excellent stay. Thank you to Sid and his wonderful team.

Clean and comfortable stay, food coffee, ..... Everyone is very helpful. Many thanks to all the staff for the awesome time I had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
For me the most important thing about a hotel in a place like Varanasi is quiteness. Hotel Buddha was clean, with hot water (taking into account it was winter) and quite. Some people might thing is a little bit far from old city or Assi Ghat, but personally I prefered so, and if you are going to take a taxi or a tuk tuk anyway, it's not a problem.
