What a beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Victoria. The front desk staff gave us a warm welcome and the room exceeded our expectations. We rented bikes and explored Killarney National Park and were thrilled to see that The Victoria was just a few doors down from the bike rental shop. Would definitely stay here again.

The beauty & character inside hotel fantastic!!
Muckross House
It’s called the New Cathedral, but it’s not that new. Building started in 1513 and finished in 1733 for this beauty. But the most famous part of the cathedral does have some modern origins. Look closely at the facade and you’ll see an astronaut carved into the stone, plus a faun eating an ice cream! Maybe it does live up to its name after all.

Greta was the ultimate host… she is my 2nd Mom!! Breakfast had plenty of options and was very tasty. House is on a very quiet street with parking which is a big plus. You can walk to the center of town in about 10 minutes. The National Park is just down the street. 5 minute drive to Muckross House and Abbey, Torc WaterFall, Ross Castle..10 minutes to the start of the Ring of Kerry.. 1.5 hours to Kerry Cliffs, Skellig Boat Tours and Dingle… Just a perfect Host, House and Location… Thanks Greta hope to see you again!!!
The hostess was so cordial and kind. Her scones are delicious! This BnB is quiet, comfortable and roomy. Nice location only 5 minutes away from Killarney center city. Close to Muckross House and Abbey so you can take walk both mornings and evenings. Really nice!
The location was perfect for walking to downtown. It was a short drive to the Ring of Kerry, Ross Castle, Killarney National Park, Muckross House and Abbey. The staff was warm, friendly and very caring. The breakfast was excellent. It was very quaint and quiet even though it was so close to the town. We enjoyed our stay immensely,
Me and my three best friends stayed at the Failte and we loved it. The hotel had such a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were so helpful and kind. The views from the room and the location in town were perfect. We walked through the national park to see Ross Castle, and had dinner and listened to live music at O’Donoghue. We also used the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour to visit the Muckross house. It was an amazing stay in Killarney, we definitely recommend it.
the location at the side of the lake was wonderful, lovely walk to Muckross abbey and Muckross house. The hotel is amazing, open fires, great atmosphere with old style furniture, sitting areas, bar. Grounds are lovely, I saw some deer. Its worth having a room with a balcony overlooking the lake.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and had some other meals there as well which were also good.
The room was cozy and the location was excellent - especially if you like easy access to live music and pubs. The hotel had a fabulous bar and several fantastic restaurants. We has several outstanding meals there. The town itself was among my favorites on our drive around the perimeter of Ireland, during which we stopped at 8 or 9 different towns/hotels. Be sure to visit Muckross House and take the Jaunty horse/carriage ride. It's worth the price. Oh, bonus! There's a little outdoor laundry mat next door to the hotel.
Lovely property. Spacious and clean room. We especially enjoyed the animals and even delayed our departure so we could enjoy the puppies, sheep, and horses. The proprietor was so friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The property was perfectly located to the places we wished to see, which included Killarney National Park, Ross Castle, Muckross House and Muckross Farms. Would enthusiastically recommend this property.
Very spacious apartment with ample room for a family of four. The baby cot was a nice touch. Two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. We never met the host, however they kept in contact and were always helpful. Within walking distance of Muckross House.
Beautiful hotel, right across the street from Muckross House and the ruins of an abbey and Killarney National Park. They had bikes for guest use and we used these to cycle around the park. The breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Ireland. The staff was very helpful and directed us to a store where we could find vacuum packing bags so we could better fit all the woolen things we bought and they even made a vacuum available to squash it all down super flat. A luxurious place to stay.
