We liked the location,including a short drive from the airport and easy walking distance access to the city centre.
The convenience of the on site underground car park, which was free to hotel guests.

The room service was brilliant. Nothing was too much for the staff, which made our stay a pleasure.

I love staying at the hotel, and have done so frequently. This is mainly because of the location, but also because I think there is a nice atmosphere in an old building that should be treasured for it's uniqueness.

Beautiful classic old hotel, nicely updated. Felt very luxurious with spacious rooms, nice amenities, and good views from the windows. One room faced the west and we could see the sea around the buildings. We had 3 rooms to accommodate 6 adults. The bathrooms were nice, with modern tiled showers or a bathtub shower. All the plumbing appeared to work and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel was easy to find and the parking garage close by for 10 Euro was reasonable. Everything was within walking distance. There were many recommended restaurants and shops close by. We stayed in Cork as an overnight stop between Dublin and Dingle, to go the Blarney Castle early in the morning. It was about a 15 minute drive from the hotel to the castle.
