Charming small city but challenging with a car due to the one-ways, narrow streets and confusing signage.
Some areas look a little rough and socially deprived when approaching the centre. Warm hearted residents with a good sense of humour.

The day we arrive in cork and bump into the Christmas eve and Christmas day. We didn't expect everything is closed including the superstore and McDonalds and Public transit. Be prepared to purchase things in advance and rent a car if you come on Christmas. But the Christmas in the city looked awesome. And all of the churches, castle and tourist attractions looks great on the outside. Overall it was a great experience.

The hotel is in a superb position for Cork City Centre especially during the Jazz Weekend. The facilities are great, staff really friendly and professional. Would highly recommend a stay here.
The hotel was fine and the staff was very friendly. The on-site parking was a bonus. The location is good, but it is a 20 minute walk to most of the city centre.
