Visually stunning building inside and out. Staff were lovely and very friendly. The food was good, I just ate at the bar and had a burger with chips, It was good, nothing amazing about it but it was nice all the same. I didn’t have time to eat in their main restaurant as I was only staying for one night on a work related stay but the menu sounded delicious and the reviews of the restaurant are fantastic so I like to try that next time.

It is not what I expected. Interesting but a little dull.
It is not what I expected. Interesting but a little dull. Disappointed also that the “cafe” detailed in the gate entrance to the castle is no longer inside the castle courtyard as before. Now you have to walk outside the castle, around the chapel, and back alley or entrance, to a garden courtyard that takes you to another building not associated at all with the castle. That along with the renovation going on to what seems to be the chapel, made this whole experience very unpleasant. As well, castle had not any audio machines available for our self-tour and there were no guided tours available either. Not worth it.

Well worth buying at Dublin Castle, the annual pass OPW for 30 euros to see many wonderful buildings and gardens. The castle itself is one of the tours you can take - and you see the marvelous art, as well as parts not seen by the general public.

Not easy to get the history of this establishment from the guide books.
Like many things in Dublin, it's not necessarily the dry facts but the anecdotes that accompany them that bring the history to life!

Location is great, very close to dublin castle, room is on the small side but t matress is super comfy, nice pillow as well. Once you have the key everything was grand, no noise, kitchen it's great, toilet it's downstairs but it was spotlessly clean. Heating worked the room was nice and cozy.
The location is superb, it’s on a quiet historical street yet near the town centre and historical sites like Christchurch and Dublin castle as well as the popular temple bar area .
It's an excellent concept: an apartment where you can fix your own meals, but there is also breakfast available at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent value for money (at 14€ per person). Kitchen facilities were quite adequate.
The room was clean - pretty snug but I and my son could fit in nicely. Maybe a slightly larger bedside table would have been great. And the location was excellent: a quiet area with a short walking distance from the Temple Bar area, or the Dublin Castle or the Guinness Storehouse.
It was so comfy! Such good front of house staff, easy check-in process, and the rooms were lovely for the price. The room was quiet and modern with really nice coffee. The area felt safe and close to dublin castle and a short walk from the temple bar. Really ticked all the boxes!
Brilliant location, view straight at Dublin castle and very central to both sides of the city. Numerous restaurants and pubs, shopping and entertainment nearby. Apartment was spotless, roomy and all mod cons. Bed very comfortable and shower was fantastic. Kitchen brand new 👍
Perfect location! Walking distance to the Jameson factory, the Guinness storehouse, Dublin castle and the temple bar was right outside the door!. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very welcoming and over all excellent

Dublin Castle is in the medieval part of town, it's easy to spend a few hours in there. The current castle was built in late 1700's, is in a very good condition and it's worth a visit.

Be aware that places like Dublin Castle and Kilmainham Gaol are timed, escorted tours, so if you can book in advance do. Guinness Factory was a self tour, but best done on a weekday if possible as less crowded.
