I’m almost always satisfied with the hotels where I stay, but this was really one of a bad kind. I have never been to Hungary before so maybe the standard general is lower, I don’t know.
In this hotel everything is very dark, kind of a forgotten building without lights. When you enter the hotel the lobby is dark and with no lights and the personal in the reception is not welcoming you at all, it is like you are disturbing them. The room was not a nice feeling at all, curtains around all walls, you did not know if there even is a window, so strange. The room smelled really bad and the breakfast was not good at all, you couldn’t find something to eat, the coffee was also undrinkable.

Loved this castle.
Loved this castle. So much to learn about the history of Hungary here. Exhibitions of all the ages of occupation of this castle were very well presented in video etc. Great view of Eger from the castle aswell. They have regular costumed demonstrations and festivals aswell.

Staff scored a perfect 10 out of 10. Dora and Vivienne were exceptionally kind, responsive, helpful, and supportive, making our stay special. Best location to visit the city center. 20 minutes walk to bus station and 7 minutes to the Eger castle. Thank you for making our stay so special.
The apartment is very close to the historical center of the city, to the Eger castle. The bedroom and living room/kitchen are big and the loft style includes some old original stones and bricks from which the house was built. The kitchen is equipped with all needed stuff. There is private parking slot in the yard, which is very convenient. We liked our stay here :)
Maria is the best. She is so nice to pick us up from the Eger station, it saves our lives. She also baked us a cake that is so delicious that I forgot my weight loss plan. Enjoying the large terrance during the morning. The location of the property is good, close to everything, especially the Eger Castle.
We have just stayed there for three nights & it was very good & comfortable. The hostess Esther was very welcoming. The apartment was spotless clean & nicely decorated. The bed was very comfy as well.
There is a separate laundry with washing machine & dryer which came in very handy. There is a private parking inside the backyard but there is also plenty of parking just outside the apartment. Also the location is very good just a few minutes walk from the Eger Castle. High recommend.
The breakfast was delicious and substantial. The staff was super helpful; I booked my stay incorrectly and they found a room for me. The place is right at the foot of Eger Castle and close to everything.
A cosy apartment located minutes away from Eger Castle - it’s in a residential apartment complex and is quiet, away from the main road. Has all the furnishings that you’ll need for your stay! You can easily get to the apartment with buses.
The location is right in the old town center, the Eger Castle, and the Main Square are 3 minutes away on foot. The staff is friendly and ready to help if you need something.The room and the bathroom were very clean and we had tv and internet via wifi. The breakfast was good and it was served at the Hotel Unicornis which is 2 minutes away on foot from the location. Very close to the Villa Florencia are a lot of restaurants from where you can choose to eat.
