The Sea Organ
Enjoy the symphony of the sea on the beautiful Croatian coast. Designed by architect Nikola Bašić, the Sea Organ is an elaborate set of stone stairs with pipes leading into the Adriatic. As waves push air through the internal whistles, you can hear different tones matching the tide’s ebb and flow. You’d be hard-pressed to find a prettier spot to commune with nature.

Zadar is a lovely town and Nives, our host, gave us good info to help enjoy it to the fullest. We especially liked the historic tour -- there is lots of history there!-- and also the seaside promenade in the evening, and the Sea Organ. The apartment is spacious and attractive, with easy access to many shops and restaurants.
We received good communication via WhatsApp about checking into the apartment.
The apartment was a good size, warm, very clean and had everything you need.
Located in the old town by the land gate, 10 minute walk to the sea organ.
Check in is offically 16:00 however the apartment was ready earlier which was great.
Great location, right in the heart of the old town. There are many beautiful spots around either for swimming or the sea organ. The room is clean with plenty of space for storage. Unlikely many other hostels in Zadar, there are curtains around your bed for privacy.
Apartment was very well equipped and comfortable, as in the pictures. Just a short walk from the sea organ and also into the town centre. Not far from the bus stop for Zadar Airport and local Ferry services.
The Studio apartment was clean, it was handy for supermarket and the sea and we felt quite safe. We did not use the cooking facilities, though we did use the kettle, there was plenty of crockery and utensils, although there was no bottle opener/cork screw. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows too were perfect. Short walk to the sea and pier fabulous sunsets and loved the sea organs.
The host sent excellent instructions on how to access the apartment and go to the free parking. The apartment is a very traditional town apartment with a modern feel with everything you need including free water and croissants, nice touch! and the LOCATION! WOW! straight out the door and you are in the middle of it all. We are sad we only had one night in Zadar because we loved it and would definitely return. We found an excellent restaurant called 4Kantuna and the Sea Organ is a must. Enjoy!
The location of the apartment was excellent. It was a quiet spot facing the sea , minutes walk from the sea organ. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed.
Spacious apartment and located centrally in Zadar Old Town. Perfect for families. Easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants and bars. You can also walk to the markets, roman ruins, cathedral and the sea organ.

The old forum is a must. Take a walk along the riva and see the sea organ and "greetings to the sun". The ancient glass museum is very interesting too.

The area around the sea organ could be crowded so the pier in front of the forum is your best bet to get a nice uninterrupted view.

Go to the pier on the far west of town and sit down on the steps that lead into the Mediterannean as the Sea Organ plays a hauning melody while the sun slips below the waves. As dark arrives, watch the Greeting the Sun art installation light up the floor of the boardwalk and play mesmerising patterns as the ferries and cruise lines sail off into the night.
