The hotel is in a great location for anyone who has arrived in to the port, it was an easy walk dragging a suitcase. The local bus is just around the corner and the bus to the airport departs from the same spot. There was a little bit of traffic noise from the room at night but not enough to disturb sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location to explore Dubrovnik and surrounding area. Hotel is next to a bus stop, which takes you into Old Town in ~10 mins. The hotel also has the benefit of being easy to access via car, and has its own garage for parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overlooking the sea in the beautiful Lapad Bay, the Kompas hotel can be found near a pebbly beach and the popular promenade, only a 15-minute bus ride from Dubrovnik's Old Town.

We had a wonderful view from our bedroom balcony, as you do from most of the hotel. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a brilliant selection, all was tasty and freshly made. The cocktails are also excellent.
The pool has lots of loungers available and, again, a great view. Off-season the pool bar wasn’t open, but the staff doesn’t stop you enjoying a few brought-in drinks.
The location was great, it’s in a very nice and quiet part of Dubrovnik. Twas easy to get in/out of Old Town. There are lots of lovely restaurants and bars on the waterside walk (along the ‘cliff’) that I recommend going for a walk and enjoying a few drinks by the water.
