The hotel provided an excellent breakfast and a beautiful patio setting. We also appreciated having a parking option. The room was much larger than we had expected as well.

Absolute luxury! Our room was immaculate and elegant, with a stunning view. The staff are like none other! Everyone we came in contact with was engaging, friendly and helpful. A huge shoutout to Antonio in the restaurant. We ate dinner there several times and everything was spectacular. Antonio knows his wine, food and craft cocktails and his recommendations are solid! Breakfast is a feast and also excellent.
The salt water pool is heated and because this is a small hotel, it was not crowded.
The gym is airy, clean and well-equipped. The spa is lovely and access to steam and sauna rooms are complimentary. I had a massage from Cornejla and that too was top-notch. I would highly recommend her.
The hotel is located on a little paved community path which makes it easy to walk to other restaurants; and if nothing else, stroll past beautiful old villas and take in the stunning views.

Hotel is beautiful with wonderful amenities walking distance to the boardwalk type space, local shops and restaurants which made it a convenient place for us. Private parking space was very valuable as it’s a busy area and parking can be tough.

Commonly referred to as the ‘Lungomare’, this picturesque promenade is slightly unorthodox in that it was built in stages. Its northern part stretches from Volosko to Opatija and was finished in 1889, while the southern end connects Opatija to Lovran, and was completed in 1911.

Great walking place.
Great walking place. We stayed in Lovran and we took the bus to the center of Opatija, then walk back to Lovran along the Promenade. The walk is estimated to 1:45, if I remember well, but it took us about 5 hours because we stoped several times along for a couple of bathes in the sea, eating lunch, drinking some beers or eating ice cream. We had a wonderful day! Than you King Ferdinand!
