You arrive in paradise: gorgeous Mediterranean villa surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers! The owner and staff are very welcoming. We spent time on the terrace where we also had a wonderful breakfast the next day.
Our room was very spacious and clean with balcony overlooking the property and a window with a sea view. From the terrace you walk out on the private beach and can stroll for 10 min into the town center along the water. Everything about Villa Astra is perfect! We are very impressed! Would love to come back!

Great breakfast. Staff were awesome from the time we arrived. Property is close to the walkway which takes you 11km or more along the sea towards Opatija. Very quiet when we were there.

Adorable hotel with beautiful view. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Great breakfast spread and very quiet for sleeping. The town of Lovran is not too far by car and has a great seaside walkway as well as some dining/shopping.
Hotel Stanger is located outside of Lovran, only a few steps from the beach. It offers air conditioned rooms and a sunny, spacious terrace with views of the Adriatic Sea.

Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part. I especially like that there is not too many tourists and that you can both enjoy the town beach just as the wild rocky beaches where you have more privacy! I would recommend Lovranski Pub and Delfino for GREAT meal! The walk road by the see - LungoMare give you a huge pleasure by the sea from Lovran to Volosko! The sea is clean and wonderful.

Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural...
Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural abundance. The only problem are the roads and basic infrastructure after beautiful promenade in Opatija and Lovran. The cars are driving like there is MonteCarlo, without any consequences or fines, and as a walker going to the beach, you are not considered. Simply, there is no basic traffic lights, sidewalks and you can easily get killed there if not careful enough when passing the main street. This is a problem of the state regulations, but hotel guests are in danger, especially children.

Well cared for, seafront although lacking sandy beach is well equipped in terms of terraces and steps leading into the sea with handrails to provide assistance. Also well positioned for visiting other locations. We. Visited Rijeka and the island of Krk.

Just as foretold, a bit smaller, a bit less fancy version of Abbazia / Opatija. The sea is the same :-) Also vey nice villas and apartments, the Lungo Mare is stretching all the way till here. Good food. Old Town is really old and authentic. Depressingly narrow streets, pedestrians only.

Nice little town, excellent location. Hiking routes nearby. A series of small beaches accessible by foot from the town centre. A beautiful 12-km promenade along the beach. Pula and Premantura are about 100kms away (worth a day trip).

The staff are brilliant and very polite. We had a half-board and stayed in a family room (two connected rooms), very spacious and clean. Food at the restaurant was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is on excellent location, you can easily go walking by the coast all the way to the city of Opatija, or take a short bus/car ride. I'm not sure for the parking during the high season, but in November there were plenty of free parking spaces around (parking in Lovran is free).
Exceptional hosts in Lovran, with an excellent location, this 4-star guest house offers sea views, free WiFi, and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the garden and explore nearby attractions. Valy and his family were always available to assist with any queries or requests.
Nice house in the beautiful Lovran. The apartments in the second floor has great view. The hosts are very helpful and nice people. The biggest apartment is spacious, with a comfy kitchen, which is important considering the ridiculous Croatian restaurant prices.
Nice, clean appartment not far from the sea. Air conditioning inclusive. Right next to a big supermarket, which is very convenient. Parking next to the appartment was not a problem. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Lovran.
Very good location beach - old town in 5-10 min by walk,good price-value, comfortable private parking ( in Lovran its a big deal) . The owner is very helpful and kind.
